The Ramblin Road
After waiting in the cold for your Country Pride restaurant to open (5 minutes late), get told that they won’t be serving food for a while. Apparently they don’t have a cook. Luckily one of the regular CUSTOMERS started making coffee and was serving the eight customers. Listening to the regulars that were waiting with me, this is the norm. I had a choice on where I stayed last night, and I chose this one (even paid $15 to park here) so i could get a cooked to order breakfast. In addition to the staffing issue, apparently the closing staff didn’t clean the restaurant last night either, the men’s room was trashed and I was the first customer in. TA/PETRO charges high prices but fails AGAIN to deliver. I would like to say that the two waitresses that were there did manage to get the kitchen going and had breakfast cooked for the original customers by 06:50. Thank you to them.

Great place to come and eat salad bar is really nice it looks fresh and clean service is really nice club sandwich is huge and it’s very unexpensive great price. One thing I don’t completely like is that it’s a little difficult to get parking after a certain hour parking lot will probably be full at 5 it’s completely full.

Have been to many Country Prides all over the country… This has to be one of the better ones I have been to ! More up to date, and prompt service ! Had the clam chowder (not sure why another review said it sucked) and it was very tasty ! Not fishy in any way and had plenty of clams ! Had the Salmom and it was also delicious (unlike what the other review said) ! Will definitely come back here !

Although my visit to this particular Country Pride didn’t start off on the right foot, the combination of Cynthias friendly service, and my perfectly cooked Cajun salmon prepared by Ron, turned my visit around to a very positive visit. I look forward to returning here on my travels through the pass.

Bad customer service, waitress was rude, hashbrowns undercooked, biscuit was almost raw dough. We will not come back. No wonder the dining room was 90% empty.

Stopped in on our way to deliver a load of pipe and had 2 Ribeye steak dinners! It was such a great treat to have everything taste just like you like it. Excellent! And the server Ron was a very nice man. Enjoyed our visit and we will be back again.

We had a lovely dinner last night. We sat at the bar and the people were so friendly you could have imagined it was 50 years ago when strangers got to know you. Belle our server was attentive and just the right amount of chatty. It was a perfect atmosphere for a long haul truck driver to belly up and feel like he was home. Oh and the salad bar was pretty decent too.

Very quiet place with delicious food. Had the country fried steak and mashed potatoes, hit the spot. Came covered in a sausage gravy and was done perfectly. The service was top notch and they kept the drinks filled. Not much traffic at 8pm on a Friday night. Good choice if you’re after comfort food!
