Purple Haze and SBT schedules matched up and it was time to Ride. It was going to be a morning ride with breakfast on the menu. I chose Country Skillit and this would be Haze’s first time. Haze order the Biscuits & Gravy with Scrambled eggs and Hashbrowns with an extra helping. Haze literally destroy his Biscuits & Gravy with out breathing. He loved this old time diner breakfast meal. I got Pam’s Breakfast and I got the French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and grits. It was a Fantastic breakfast. Definitely better than a chain breakfast place. I would strongly advise to stop by. It is seat yourself so you want to kinda time it right cause it can get packed real quick but has been worth it each time

2nd time here, brought new people with us. It was just SOOO good. Simple and fresh. We had various omelets, home fries, grits and pancakes—one better than the other! Food was hot and good portions (and reasonably priced). Our server was Averi and she was great! Welcoming, sweet, attentive and just overall awesome. We HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

It’s was decent food and prices was reasonable. It was the better choice to eat at for what was available in that little area. I had grilled chicken breast and two vegetables. Husband has a full breakfast for dinner. We enjoyed it.

Been living around Lake city for years and never stopped in to this place until today, and boy am I glad I did! I ordered the Philly steak and out of all the places in Lake City this place and 1 other have amazing cheese steak! The staff was very nice and the place was clean and welcoming. If you are wanting some good southern comfort food this is the place, we will definitely be coming back to try more on the menu
