It was extremely hot, as if the air wasn’t working. We wait for over 30 minutes and never received our food. Our waitress was very rude as was the woman at the front. We were charged $20 for 3 drinks and 2 salads. The salad bar was nearly empty with wilted lettuce. You get 20oz drinks, so no refills. Very very unhappy. For the price you would expect better service and a cleaner atmosphere. The walls look like they’re splattered with old food and the chairs were sticky. I would much rather go down the road to the front porch, where I Atleast receive my order. And their “aged steak” is just laying open near the front door uncovered and unrefrigerated.

Decent steak. Not the best, but cooked properly and not boring. The fried catfish was a bit on the and side. Not enough salt in the batter. Potato was a potato. I like potatoes. The salad bar is about what you’d expect. Standard greens with low quality toppings and dressings. Not offensive, but it passes through you as if it had never been there at all.

Very over priced. They have good catfish and steaks are ok. Just hope you don’t get the owners mom to serve or ring your order up. I can tell she doesn’t want to be there at all. Oh and be sure to bring cash. That’s all they take.

I just ate there for the first time. I got hamburger steak with onion gravy, FF and Cole slaw. The food was good but would have been great had they not used Soo much onion and too much sugar in Cole slaw. I’ll eat there again but will get no onions and try the salad instead.

Went for the last time this weekend. 17 people in our party and one person had a good experience. Steak had a lighter fluid taste to it. Salad bar was no good (ham was slimy). Fish was ok at best. Don’t offer sweet potatoes. The place won’t take a debit/credit card. The proprietors are standoffish. They don’t have to be obliging since they have all the business they want I guess. Front Porch is just down the road and is much better.
