Today I walked in to purchase chips and powerade and was asked my ID. I was told it was a store policy. I’ve been there a couple of times there before and had never been asked for it. OK, so it’s a new store policy to ask for ID for every purchase really, but yet the cashier didn’t ask for an ID to the person in front of me to who also purchase similar goods like me…why? I will investigate this…

They have really good Chile verde Mac n cheese and tri tip. The ribs are pretty good as well, I’ve never really had the grilled chicken but I hear it’s good. The BBQ trailer isn’t always there, so it’s kind of a hit or miss. Pretty friendly staff, clean bathrooms, has all the necessities if you’re just passing through the town. Wish they would have an updated bbq trailer schedule posted somewhere.

The Mac N’ Cheese here is the worst I’ve ever had. Three small bowls and $30 later I was filled with regret. The cheese is clumpy and separated. The tamale Mac N Cheese was super greasy and tasted awful. I’d rather spend $30 on Kraft Macoroni and am really scratching my head as to how this won at the Mac N Cheese fest. Especially since my whole family agreed. Save your money!
