The newly remodeled Court House is looking fantastic. Shannon made me a refreshing Tito’s and Lemonade and I had the Chicken Salad Club sandwich which was the best I’ve ever had. The Broccoli salad was a surprise delight that came with the sandwich. Chatted with Mark, one of the owners who is always very personable. Highly recommend to eat here.

Absolutely love this place. My favorites include the prime rib, French dip sandwich, salads, Brunswick stew, and all desserts. It is so nice to have a place where there is something for everyone. The specials are great, too. I am always full when I leave, but make sure to take one of their delicious desserts to-go. Though I don’t eat seafood, other family members have had multiple seafood dishes and gave rave reviews. This place is a must-go lunch or dinner spot if you are in the mood for ultra fesh delicious food without fuss.

I moved here from the northeast 26 years ago. Been searching for a place that knows how to cook a proper prime rib. Found it. Absolutely excellent. Tender and juicy and cooked the way a wanted it. Generous portion. I got the king sized version. Steak fries were good. Steamed veggies were mush. But the she crab soup was also excellent. Nice local place. Real hole in the wall which I love. I’ll be back.

So today my husband and I went out for lunch. And we saw this place and decided to stop in. OMG the food was AMAZING! The staff was very friendly! Our cups stayed full with drinks. Our waitress was stinking sweet. This place gives a entire vibe. If you want a alcohol beverage. They have a good selection of wine, beer and the hard stuff lol. So two meals, drinks and desserts cost us about 50$. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE KEY-LIME CHEESECAKE! Oh bring a jacket it’s pretty cold in there.

Mark Hill and his staff are always friendly, courteous and accommodating. For starters we ordered the fried mushrooms and chicken tenders…very tasty! We ordered a cheeseburger meal, 2 friend shrimp specials and a sirloin meal. All were hot fresh and delicious.

This place is pretty great! It’s definitely old school! Food is good! Good selection of drinks! And the staff is friendly! Only small complaint is large table is kinda cramped with walk way, but it is a pretty small place. This is another hidden gem of Chesapeake! We will definitely go back.
