The food was amazing. Tons of lobster. They definitely don’t try to cut corners. But…. the service was beyond my expectations. If you want to go somewhere and feel welcomed that has great food this is your place. She asked my name for the order and never forgot it. The whole time we were there, she addressed me by name and took care of anything needed. She was like that with everyone that came in. Left a nice tip and she was extremely grateful. A nice change in a world where tipping is expected and customer service has decreased.

We had the opportunity to be one of the first customers following the grand reopening in October of 2022, phenomenal experience! Everything ordered was beyond expectations and the staff was caring and attentive to every need. #protip from one of the owners: order the Maine roll with a side of drawn butter, you get the best of the Maine and Connecticut rolls in one! On the high recommendation of a good friend and the highly rated reviews, I was eager to make the trek to Cousins Maine Lobster. I had high expectations based on the many great reviews. Let me tell you, I was mot disappointed! Last Saturday I walked through the door to be greeted by Dara, with a huge smile and friendly personality. I ordered the warm Connecticut Lobster roll (the warm version) and the fried clams. Dara also offered samples of their Lobster Bisque and New England clam chowder.

I wish I could give 6 stars for service and food quality! If you like lobster, you must go check this place out! I had the Maine lobster roll (warm lobster with melted butter) and it was FULL of lobster meat. I’m normally not a fan of battered fries but these were SO good (their combo #2 can be ordered with tots or fries). Their sweet tea is southern style (unlike the theme of the restaurant being northeastern), so it’s very very sweet, which I love. The lady at the counter was a total sweetheart and she gave me a couple samples of their lobster bisque and NE clam chowder. Both amazing and I will come back for that bisque next time. They also sell Moxie soda for anyone from New England who has trouble finding it this far south. If you think it’s a bit of a drive, don’t let that stop you. It’s worth the extra few miles.

I am a Plymouth, Massachusetts native and one thing we could easily find is a descent lobster roll. Since moving to Florida almost 2.5 years ago I have not found a lobster roll worthy of eating. I had given up and saved my lobster appetite for whenever I flew back home.

On a scale of 1-10, this place is a 20! The food is delicious and the lobster is generously portioned. The fries are so crispy and tasty, they must be sent from Heaven! Some favorites are the Connecticut roll, the lobster tacos, and the lobster BLT. The service here is AMAZING!! Dara remembers everyone’s names and faces and always has such gratitude towards her guests. (When was the last time you felt gratitude from any restaurant in this day and age of entitlement?!) This location definitely has that old southern feeling that makes everyone feel welcomed and part of the family. The restaurant itself has that cool Maine nautical vibe and is beyond CLEAN! So refreshing!! We will keep coming back again and again!

I love this place! Love their lobster roll so much! Order the Maine and Connecticut rolls with combo. I think the difference is Maine is cold lobster with mayonnaise on top of a hot soft butter roll and Connecticut is warm butter lobster instead. I personally love the Connecticut but they both tastes super fresh and delicious. Price of course will be a bit higher but it is worthy. Definitely will be back.
