Some of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. In an old house, this restaurant is a fun and interesting atmosphere, and the food is great. Had the double patty breakfast burger with the fried egg and pimento cheese, and added bacon. Absolutely fantastic. Tator tots were nice and crispy too.

Very good food. Burgers are big, taste amazing, and juicy. They are very decently priced. A sit down restaurant that can feed our family of 3 for well less than $50. My only gripe, which isn’t even that big of a deal, is that the couple of times we’ve been, they don’t have a lot of serving staff, so there can be a little longer wait than other restaurants. They are one of our favorite restaurants in Douglas. Definitely a must to check them out.

I stopped in while traveling on my motorcycle. I got there right at noon on a Saturday and was seated immediately. The waitress, Renee, (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was very attentive. Drink was always full. My order arrived way faster than expected for being in a sit down restaurant. It was hot and very very good. I’m very glad I chose to not stop at a fast food chain that day because the service and food are excellent here and I will be stopping there whenever I come through Douglas. My new favorite place to eat. Oh and the prices were great

i’m writing this review a week after visiting. i ordered a standard cheeseburger here and i’ve been craving for more ever since! the burger was cooked perfectly and came out hot. the greens were super fresh and yummy. the fries were seasoned really well but they were a little cold. i also tried a side of potato salad and it was very delicious. the menu has a good selection of american food and i really enjoyed the big variety of appetizers and sides. all of the servers were super sweet and hard working and the atmosphere is nice with music playing. my only nitpick is the layout is slightly awkward with bulky tables, and ours was dirty when we sat down. my water also tasted like dirty tap water. however, my meal and stay was pleasant and i definetly want to come back and try more of the menu!

Just delicious! The mushroom Swiss burger was phenomenal and the sweet potatoe fries were crispy and exquisite. Their draft bold rock hard cider was crisp and light and complemented my burger perfectly! They had many loval brews on tap and had uniquely crafted drink specials! Very friendly staff and a super fun Bingo night (4/13/22). Do not miss this great local spot!

Food is okay not best though. And if you want some real potatoe salad don’t order theirs, like who puts ranch in their potato salad. And baked beans were bland. Was too expensive for the food quality.

I live in Chicago, the home of “Pizza, Burgers, Italian Beef..etc etc”…. or so I thought!I I was in Douglas the other day with my co-worker and stopped in for lunch. That was the BEST Burger I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE! Service, food, everything was top notch! Can’t wait to get back there! Great experience!

I must say, the burger was really good, I had a cow and sow (bacon cheese burger) it was a hand patted burger cooked to order. It was juicy and had good flavor. The sides sucked, bad. We had mac and cheese (Basically blue box with a little extra milk. No flavor, too soupy, just nothing to it.), chilli (Looked good, but had a bitter, burnt taste to it with too much spice for no reason.) and I can’t remember the third, but it wasn’t good either. For appetizers we had fried mushrooms (ok, frozen, out of a bag, you could tell by the breading.) Bacon cheese fries (these were good, they had real bacon and the french fries were good too. What set them back was the cheese sauce they had on them. It was that melted cheese goup you get on nachos, without the spicy flavor, just bland and yellow.) I was really excited when I saw the plates that were coming out, they looked great, but I was disappointed with the food. This place could be phenomenal with a few changes. Use real cheese on the cheese fries, make fresh mushrooms instead of frozen bag mushrooms. Just small changes in execution and the care they put into their food, would really make a difference. The atmosphere was great. They had trivia the night we went and it was really cool. Just put more into the preparation of the small things, because the burgers, which are the main thing, are really good and the atmosphere was on point.

Went there for lunch and ordered mushroom burger but they were out of mushrooms. My fries were barely warm, I asked for hot fries and they took what felt like for ever to get a new order. The burger was delicious even though the mushrooms were missing. When the fries came out they were ok….even though they were hot. I am thinking that since it’s a burger/brewery the fries should be “hand cut “ and awesome?

Great burgers. They are hand pattied so not much to look at, but we’ll seasoned and large. I had a mushroom swiss and onion rings. I wish I had got the potato salad, my dad did and it was amazing. The fried mushroom appetizer was good. If I could take away a half star I would for the tea. It was terrible, watered down and tasted old.
