If you order a salad from this location, make sure to have the cucumbers removed. The last two times I’ve been to this location I ordered a side salad. Both times the cucumbers were clearly rotten; mushy and smelled. Both orders were take out. I didn’t find this till I left. I’m guessing the items are stored separately and then put together per order, because the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. Why would anyone serve a clearly bad food item to customers?????

Cowboy Chicken is our family’s recent favorite place. Homemade bread for $.25, fantastic rotisserie chicken, great sides with our favorite being the Creamed Spinach, good drink choices, but no Coke Zero. Diet Dr Pepper, usual options, sweet and unsweet tea, and 3 lemonades round out great choices. We have returned many times with consistent good results.

Five stars for the creamed spinach – I didn’t particularly care for the chicken tenders. The tenders were pretty to look at but were way too salty, and the texture reminded me of frozen Tyson chicken.

I tried to order food online but for some reason it wouldn’t except the buffalo chicken sandwich order for my son. I called in to ask if it’s something I needed to do the employee on the line stated she did not know how the online service worked so she asked if I wanted to order over the phone I said sure I placed my order got to restaurant to pick up food she said it would take 10-15 mins to prepare I got there in 10 I got home “tried” to eat my food.. EVERYTHING WAS OLD and my order was wrong the Mexican corn was hard and chewy the creamy spinach was sticky and had no cream my half of chicken I did not order was old with hard tuff skin like it’s been there since this morning. I loved Cowboy Chicken until today I was so disappointed in my meal. It’ll be a while before I go back.
