Wife and I hit this place up for lunch during a motorcycle outing. They have a nice outdoor seating area, which is what caught my eye in the first place. I had the pulled pork sandwich, the wife got the two meat plate with sausage and brisket. The pulled pork was really nicely seasoned and the sandwich was hardily packed with meat. The brisket though. Absolute perfection. It just fell apart in your mouth. Super nice crispy edge, perfect flavor. Some of the best brisket I’ve tasted (outside of my own of course). The sausage wasn’t as great, it tasted a bit gamey. We feel like it could have been seasoned a bit better. The potato salad was decent, and the pinto beans were fantastic. The staff is super friendly. This is a family owned and operated business, and out of the families childhood home. Really great experience and we will be back.

My husband and I ate here this evening and we WILL be back! The brisket is AMAZING!! I had a brisket sandwich and they didn’t skimp on the meat. It was so tender it just melted in my mouth, and the flavor, WOW sums it up. My husband had ribs and chicken and they were fantastic too. To top off the awesome food, all of the people running this place were SO nice and friendly! If you’ve not been here you’re missing out!

I had a chopped beef sandwich the other day that was nicely filled. They wasn’t skimping on the meat. It was pretty good. Also had a cup of extra sauce that I found hit the spot. The sauce was kind of black peppery tasting which satisfied my spicy craving for me that day. I was full and happy! I really need to try more of their bbq and sides in the future to give them a more fair rating. The lady who served me was fairly friendly as was before. I’ve only had carryout so far and haven’t dined in yet. I’ll definitely be heading back.

We were recommended this place. Probably won’t be listening to that person anymore. The beef ribs were moist and soft but lots of fat. Sausage was a bit hard. Had we known they were going to give us a loaf of bread and half a jar of pickles/ onions we would have opted out to not waste them. Loved the atmosphere and outdoor seating. The ladies working were great and super friendly. I will say that out of the sides ordered the MacNCheese and the Potato Salad were the best!!! Hell a bit more mustard in the tater salad it would be as good as my mom’s!!!!

I ordered the one meat 2 sides and a drink for $13.99 The Brisket was very tender and juicy.. with that’s said I ask for marble meat and unfortunately I received more fat than meat and seeing as how I only got 2 slices I waa very disappointed, the cream corn was not great it could have been sweeter in my opinion the green were tasty. I do not feel like I got my money’s worth.

Saw a billboard off of I-37 north that read “Pleasanton: birthplace of the cowboy” and decided to go find a bbq joint while on the road. Got the wrangler special (two meats, two sides, and a drink for $16.99). The order came out by the time I filled my cup and sat down. Hands-down the best jalapeño sausage I’ve ever tasted. The chopped brisket was also juicy and I received a very healthy portion. My Mac and cheese and potato salad were both perfect. The woman I ordered from was very accommodating a the rest of the staff were also very welcoming. Will be passing by this place every time I drive through south texas

Mouth-watering brisket, ribs and sides! We recently took a drive to try out the brisket after having seen another review about the ribs. The drive was well worth it! Once we arrived at the smokehouse we were greeted with friendly faces and staff ready to assist us! We were able to order brisket, beef ribs, Dino-ribs and for our sides we ordered green beans, corn and Mac and cheese. I can’t say enough of how delicious everything was!!! It did not disappoint!!! Every item that we ordered was well cooked! The brisket, ribs and Dino-ribs were soooo mouthwatering!!!! Very tasty!! It was sooooo good that we didn’t even give it a chance to take a photo for this review!!! I HIGHLY recommend taking a drive out to Pleasanton to try for yourself!! They have a really nice outdoor seating area which would make a nice treat to take the family out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!!! And again, I can’t stress how courteous the staff were! Not sure if they are all family but they made it feel like a family environment! We can’t wait to return and hopefully be able to taste their desserts which were sold-out when we stopped by late in the afternoon. Thanks again for making our drive worth it!!! Loved every part of our trip!!!

I really enjoyed their Bb-q. Tender brisket, very good flavor on the Jalepeño sausage. A little high on the price, but was good. Only seating outside. Needs to have protection from rain, then it would be fine. Very courteous service as well. I will be back.
