I would rate 1 Star but we didn’t have food so can’t judge to much. We got there and of course a waitress was outside smoking (I don’t know if she just got done but it was 9:49am so I would assume not). My son and I sat down and waited a good 8-10 min for anyone to acknowledge us. A guy came over didn’t know if he was our waiter or what. We haven’t seen the waitress we seen smoking in the restaurant so maybe she was done and had a short shift. But the guy came and asked us what we want to drink I said well waters please and some menus. He came back like 3 or 4 min later with waters and asked us what we want to eat? I said we don’t even have menus. He said well didn’t you see the specials. I said there are only two specials on the bored we want menus that’s how a restaurant works. He went and got the menus but with my irritation i told my son let’s go to Durand to eat (we tried to find a breakfast joint FIRST before this place cause I knew it was going to be bad. But yup Mondovi restaurant closed. The one by hotel and another but the I’ve cream joint were all closed so I guess this place. We got up and as walking by counter I said we are going to Durand to eat. And we just got done eating here in Durand. Service is key

My wife and I stopped in today and ordered 2 dinners, which included the soup and salad bar. We went to the salad bar and had two house size salads. After waiting an addional 25-30 minutes the waitress-Jean- came to our table and informed us that there had been a problem and our dinners and they hadn’t been started yet. After spending more than 40 minutes at the restaurant already we told the waitress we couldn’t wait for the meal. Jean billed me $15.80 for two salad bars. Our bill for the two dinners would have been $23 and that would have included the soup and salad bar and our meal!

We were there on a Sunday. We had come from Wausau and wanted a sandwich before finishing the trip. They were very welcoming and the food was delicious. We ate in the bar watching a football game. Pleasant te.

The food is good but they need a lot of work on the waitressing and running the cash register. Poor family waited about an hour for an easy breakfast order and they were there b4 us and we were done eating before theirs even came out. Personally I think their meals should of been free.

Came here for dinner. We waited an hour for our food. It was good but the wait time was ridiculous!! They claimed it was due to other orders from the bar but when I walked back to pay, there were hardly anyone in the bar and only 2 people ate. Very very disappointing! Wasn’t busy when we ordered either.
