Really beautiful spot. It was really busy when we went, took an hour until we got our food, so check the business before you go if you don’t want to wait too long. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Fatboy burger, but definitely would like to come back to try other items. Gorgeous places to eat as well. They do have a drive in as well. Pleasant experience!

The tropical treat is and has been a mainstay for a good reason. We sat at a picnic table and even during a downpour, the server brought our food to us and was very polite. This, along with the great taste of their food is why Tropical Treat comes very highly recommended!

My better half and I have stopped here for ice cream in the evenings in summer several times. Always enjoy the ice cream and the ambiance of eating under the trees. Service is typically quick, and most of the young help are very accommodating and courteous. It’s a night’s adventure. Was just the opposite. Our server was very rushed and trying to get her order. We got a waffle cone Sunday and when it was handed to us the whipped cream was already sliding down the side of it. We asked for a cup to put it in since it looked like it was not going to last very long. That got an eye roll and attitude from the server. My wife turned around to leave the counter and the entire half of the Sunday fell off the waffle cone to the ground. We then approached the server and simply asked if we could get some additional whipped cream added to the waffle cone that was now upside down in our cup and again was met with a lot of resistance and more attitude. She reluctantly added more whipped cream as we explained that we didn’t even get away from the counter before it collapsed the first time. Manager, we spoke to the manager and he apologized and offered a gift certificate which we refused. We simply hope that he addresses the issue with the servers who are the front line for dealing with the public.

In the probably 15 years eating here nothing has changed it has the same nostalgic feel it always had. Prices haven’t changed even in the rough climate they haven’t changed. The food is the same great tasting food it’s always been I will continue to come here for as long as they remain open. If you haven’t eaten here yet and your from around the area you definitely need to go.

While the food and ice cream is good the traffic and wait time is atrocious. Watching all the kids run around unsupervised is crazy. The atmosphere is less the relaxing and every sports car going by thinks they need to make their mufflers scream. We got or food to go and the wait was so stressful. We did go last year and this is our first and last time for this year!
