I’m so happy we found this place. Sarah and another server took care of my family. The guy made several recommendations on the food and just enjoyed chatting with my family. We had the crab pretzels, shrimp tacos, coconut shrimp, Caribbean bowl, and grouper tacos. Everything was delicious! Would love to visit again.

What a great place, outside eating is my favorite, the palm trees and big fans make it fresh and perfect. First of all the service was great and fast, Chuck was our server, really attentive, we tried different food, shrimp, avocado egg rolls, steak bowl, mahi bowls, kids meal Mac and cheese, everything was great, rich flavor, delicious!! They have ice cream too, a lot of flavors, perfect to finish a great meal!! They have live music at night! And Nick the manager was amazing, making sure everything was running smoothly!! Definitely coming back!!

This place is great! I think the best crab I’ve had in a while. Seasoned really well. Also, I got the fish and chips, and the tarter sauce is unreal. The shrimp was good. Our waitress was awesome. HIGHLY recommend if you’re in this beautiful area.

Fantastic food and the service was impeccable! My wife and I ate the grouper street bowl and the mahi mahi Caribbean bowl. Both were extremely tasty and easy to eat every bite. Our waiter Ryan was a great host and he treated us better than any server we encountered in the Clearwater area. We can’t wait to come back and experience all the Crabby venues.

Went to dinner last night with the family. LOVE the atmosphere. The service was great even though there were only two people working there. I could tell it was alot of work for them. But they were both still very friendly and handled it well. I had the grouper tacos Caribbean style and they were awesome! However I got the street corn for my side and I was disappointed. Not sure if something was just off with it. But it tasted a little spoiled or something. And not sure if it was suppose to be cold. But it was. Not appetizing. That is my only complaint. I wouldn’t count this place out because of that. Some days are off. It happens. The family all seemed to enjoy their food. Steak tacos, chicken tacos and grouper tacos all great.

Make sure you are paying attention or you just might miss this off the beaten path little gem. Like it’s name suggests, it is a bit of a “hideaway”. There was a pretty long wait to get seated, but they didn’t have all tables full. We were a party of two and had a 40 min wait with open tables on plain sight. The seating for this restaurant is all outdoors, but the vibe is super chill. Live entertainment was appreciated and the drinks were delicious. If you go, make sure you try the grouper “steak” sandwich…you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter and I went to Crabby’s Hideaway for our last dinner in Clearwater, and I’m so glad we did! I highly recommend going at dusk or later because the lighting and tiki torches make for an amazing atmosphere! The crabby pretzel was fantastic and the bourbon street shrimp with Cuban bread really brought the flavor!! One of the best parts about our time there was our experience with the staff, especially Ryan, who put up with our silliness and even raised the bar. Ryan made it an even more memorable experience and we can’t wait to go back next time we are in the area.

I tried both Crabby’s hideaway and Crabby’s dockside during my trip because I love crab!! This is the place to get it. The food was just a little bit better at Crabby’s Dockside, and the waitress at Crabby’s hideaway seemed a bit annoyed at how long it took me to eat my crab and shrimp combo but I was paying $40 for that alone, and ordered multiple berry bubbly’s so I was completely unbothered by her attitude and took my time anyways. Not to mention that they were very slow because it was Wednesday night after 7pm and there were tons of empty tables so I wasn’t hurting anyone. I would still recommend this place because I found their pricing to be much better than the other Crabby’s location. I got the combo at both places and at Dockside it was 40 for the crab +10 to make it a combo. Here it was only $40 so if you have a large group you could save quite a bit of money coming here.. the aesthetic of the place is great as well. It seems like a hidden gem
