I love the Cracker Barrel store – it is really great and unique stuff you can find.

This Cracker Barrel is always our family road trip lunch spot. We love coming here for the atmosphere and food. This last trip, food was fine, hostess and store attendants were friendly, the waitress took a while to approach our table and service was so-so. It was the same the time before. This time though, the floor was also sticky and dirty with food pieces and silverware. Not sure if we’ll come back again.

My partner and I enjoy stopping at Cracker Barrel’s when traveling or at home. The closest establishment is about 45 minutes located in Mount Arlington which we haven’t visited in a couple of years and finally came tonight for dinner with no wait for a table. It’s a favorite restaurant for patrons who love homestyle comfort food with a country experience visually taking in the antiques hanging on the walls. It’s also a fun place to shop for toys, clothing, snacks, and more. We sat by their huge fireplace which was burning and made the dining room much more inviting and warm. Our server was Tania and newly hired. The menu offers a lot of food choices from all day breakfast to dinner. Complimentary corn muffins and biscuits started our meal. We ordered tonight’s special – Friday Fish Fry with four cod fillets hand-dipped in batter and fried with 2 helping sides of macaroni & cheese and Chicken Fried Chicken topped with Sawmill Gravy with 3 sides (vegetable soup, baby carrots and corn). The food came out warm, tasty, well seasoned and the portions were huge. The batter and the gravy they use on the chicken is the best. However the food at this particular location could be hit or miss depending on how busy it is. All in all, we had a wonderful meal and left with full stomach which we can recommend.

I was hoping for a better food experience after seeing this meal all over billboards. Needless to say it was really sweet (even more with strawberry sauce) and there was no whipped cream. Overall I would say the flavor was decent. Maybe the locations near the West are better however I will pass on any future orders.

Can’t really go wrong here. Closest you’re gonna get to a feel good southern meal in a chain restaurant. Love that they have added Impossible sausage to the breakfast menu.

I hate to say this because I know working in restaurants is difficult, but I must bring my experience to someone’s attention. Long story short, service in this location was simply non-existent. I sat at 8:42 pm and sat. And sat. I waved at a waitress, and nothing. Finally, at 9:12 pm, someone stopped and asked if I had been helped…this was after I got up and asked the two young men at the host stand for help. I finally placed my order and asked for water because I was thirsty. Another 15 minutes passed, and a friendly older lady waitress asked if I was okay…I said I was so thirsty. She brought me water right away. My food came out around 9:30 pm. Overall, it was average Cracker Barrel fare, not the best, but not awful. The presentation was awful and sloppy. The meatloaf and carrots were just cold. The chicken and dumplings were a watery mess (video below). The biscuits, fried chicken, and hashbrown casserole were the only items that tasted well-cooked and ready to serve. I wanted to mention this to my waitress but felt if I did, I would sit and wait for who knows how long. Cracker Barrel is a restaurant that is supposed to feel like a comfy visit to a home, to grandma’s house…this felt like I was visiting a bad airport cafeteria or high school. It seems my issues are expected at this location, and I hope these notes are seen and taken seriously. You do not want one location to ruin the legacy of a brand, but this location is doing just that. Whoever is in charge…I write this review with care and honesty, hoping you understand there is no ill will but hope to bring this location up to the standards it deserves.

Amazing experience. There was a 45 minute wait to be seated for my party of 6 but it was worth every second of the wait. The food was out of this world. The service was second to none. I didn’t get the name of our waitress but she was so organized and paid attention to every little detail. It was a breath of fresh air to pay for food and service and actually get what you are paying for. I patronize many of eateries and this wasn’t my first Cracker Barrel. I must say this was definitely in my top 5. Everything was exceptional. If I had one ask it would be for turkey bacon or sausage but even the chicken sausage that I had was tasty. I would definitely recommend this Cracker Barrel.

Delicious food here, everyone that knows what Cracker Barrel is will tell you to get their breakfast. It doesn’t matter what time you go, just get the breakfast! There is usually a long wait but there’s room to wait outside and sit. They’ll take your number and text you to let you know when your table is ready. Very friendly service and the prices are great as well

Fun store. Never enough time to shop for cute seasonal items. Food is always good. They run a smooth ship even on weekends. Some staff are friendlier than others, but they all seem to know the menu well. Great place to eat.

I placed a to-go order and was told it would be 15-20 min. That turned into a 55 min. No apology, no discount, just “have a good night.” No ma’am, you guys just ruined me of the last little bit of night I had left. After a long drive and trying to make it home in time to tuck my kids in yet make sure my husband is fed, that was very irritating. 1 employee who was leaving for the night was very nice and at least acknowledged how long I’ve been there, but the 2 women who helped me didn’t have a care about anything other than cleaning up and getting out of there. . I’ve worked in retail. I remember those nights. As I’ve had to remind myself, this review is to remind you that the sole purpose of you being there is to help customers and make the company money. No customers = no money.
