The food was absolutely amazing. the server was a sweetheart it wasn’t busy though and she kept saying she would be back with things and then would never come back we would have to ask another it was warm I love the decorations I love the store it was my 5th time there and my fiance’s first time he really enjoyed the food the food was hot and stayed hot the entire time even while we had to wait for her to bring the tartar sauce that we had to end up asking somebody else we will be going back it was definitely good hopefully the waitress was just having an off day and will be better next time or we will just have a different waitress I’m not going to put her name because I don’t want to put her out there because like I said she could have just been having an off day.

Never in my life will I go to this place again…EVVVEEERRRRR first time in my life going to cracker barrel had a horrible of horrible experience. South Carolina is still the very best as well as the Cracker barrel at the hamilton market place amazing as well. Service was so bad the young guy being trained asked me “what you want” really that is how you speak to customers!!! The wait was bad for the food. Then the food was disgusting…. nothing good here. I was starving couldnt finish the food, the pancakes were fried ♀️ I asked for egg whites because I am allergic to the yolk and still got some yolk. Disgusting all the way around. Latte was mainly sugar you couldnt enjoy the coffee flavor, regular coffee tasted as it was passed through a dirty sock and it seems as people ordered coffee they just added water I guess to make it last. My husband asked for gravy and biscuits his food had no flavor, gravy was too thick to swallow couldnt finish his food either. Grits was nastttyyy. Run from here. We waited about 40mins for our food. I asked for tissues, never got them…oooooo and never got my fried apples.

Unfortunately, it was not a great experience. We had to wait 40 minutes before we could get a table. While sitting at the table, we waited 15 minutes before a server came to take our order. After that, we waited 17 more minutes before the drinks came, and my hot coffee latte was already cold. Had to wait another 10 more minutes before the bread came. I gotta get up of the table to ask for silverware so I could put butter and jelly on it. No one brought silverware at the beginning like any regular restaurant does. After all this wait, we gotta wait 20 more minutes before the actual food came, and it’s when they said they did not have some of the items we ordered. At this point, we are talking about 62 minutes waiting (not counting the 40-minute waiting period to get a table). All my party was really annoyed at the terrible service. At least the manager was very nice, brought me a hot coffee and Vicky, from the shop, came to our table a few times to cheer us up and take pictures as we were celebrating my bday. We finally ordered the birthday cake, which was very good, I gave them that, but my friends ordered Peach Cobblers and nobody liked it. Very dissapointed indeed. It was a thin cracker with peaches from a can that tasted terrible and a little ice cream. The other entres we ordered were ok. I always try to give a very good review, seeing all the positives, but this experience was not good whatsoever. It was so different from my experience at CB in Arizona. It’s not a place that I will visit again. Sorry guys.

Surprise of the night – I think of fried and heavier comfort foods when I think of Cracker Barrel. The surprise tonight was the low calorie lemon pepper trout and the steamed broccoli was fresh.

I came here 2 years ago and swore never again. Then my parents told me it had improved. Now I swear the only way I’ll come back is to see it closed. As my first experience here this time also had filthy silverware and plates, greasy. The coffee was so watered down it seems the keep using the same grunds and it tasted soapy and it wasn’t even hot. I placed my order , 3 scrambled eggs, bacon, gravy and a small amount of home fries. I got a plateful of hash browns, a tiny amount of eggs that I don’t think amounted to two eggs, undercooked bacon and half a cup of gravy, all lukewarm to nearly cold. When I asked the waitress if that looked like three eggs she said “well I told them three” and a few minutes later she brought me on a greasy plate what seemed like a scrambled egg but can’t be sure. When I asked her why my food wasn’t prepared like I ordered she dismissed me saying “that’s how orders are made” so the question is; why ask how I want it if the cooks are going to prepare it as if they are the ones paying for it. The food was so bland and disgusting that calling it a disappointment is actually praising it. I asked for the manager, I explained to her my experience and I got an empty “I’m sorry”. The service, other than the hostess, is terrible because I know for a fact that the manager has been told and she reads the reviews and yet she doesn’t care which speaks for her work ethics and value. Overall this place is a literal dump. The shop is nice though.

In light of the big sign in the dining room as stated they were hiring it was very obvious. Our food took 55 minutes to be served – French toast, bacon and eggs – it was undercooked and cold. Our server was not able to provide adequate service because she was so overworked. And the atmosphere reflected not being cleaned efficiently in a while. Overall we were very disappointed. Which is really a shame because cracker barrel used to be a lovely store to go to for a visit and a place to eat.

The food was delicious! Came all the way from White Plains, NY on our way to Maryland and stopped in for a nice dinner. Service was best I’ve ever had & food was hot and came out so quickly! I had the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. 10/10 would recommend. The store was so cute and had lots of great souvenirs. Woman who helped me was super sweet and helpful. Would definitely return!

I haven’t been here since post pandemic ,but my boys asked me to join them to celebrate my pre birthday. I was shocked at how for a Friday around 10 it was so so crowded ! But I then was even more shocked that after we sat down it had been over 30 mins before we got our food ! I know it was busy, but we didn’t get any biscuits to eat while waiting unless that has stopped ?
