Wanted some fried chicken for lunch. Was around the area and didn’t have time for a sit in lunch. I ordered the fried chicken with steak fries and mac & cheese with two corn bread. Everything was good. Only disappointment was I never received the two corn bread. Noticed before leaving and took the loss there.

The food has really gone down in quality. My french toast was burned. The cooks don’t seem to care. This used to be a favorite restaurant of ours and as a chain, we could always count on consistency.

We used to love this place, but not anymore. We got our food and in my veggies or mashed potatoes was a piece of butcher paper that had some sort of meat blood soaked in it. Well I was done eating. They took my meal off which I was thankful for, but my partner ordered a baked potato with butter on the side. They charged her for a “loaded baked potato”. Why the charge? It was a Baked potato with No sour cream; No cheese; No bacon. I guess they were making up with contaminated butcher paper.

As always, the food was excellent, and our server was very sweet and attentive. We went for Father’s day around 1, and had a little wait, but not bad… only about 20 minutes to seat us.

Well, right off the start what a chaotic mess. You enter through the store, cool you get to check things out. However, this is were you check in for the restaurant and its a tight area, because its also the exit. So your constantly saying “sorry, excuse me!”. Now let get to setting. So after you have given your name and wonder the store for a time, they call your name and 8 other parties. We were the first to get up to the hostess and told twice were next as other 3 partiers were seated first. Once we were seated it took 20 mins for our waitress to come to our table. But looking around the areas, they aren’t swept and the half eaten biscuit laying there(added 10 mins later: A couple just sat down ordered some water, saw the floor and left, yes just up and left) now that we have ordered im hoping the serve is better. Service was ok. Only came over once. Biscuit is still on floor. Food was good and rather enjoyable.

We drove 2.5 hours (from Canada) to come to Cracker Barrel to pick up my family’s favourite – Mac and cheese. It says the family mac and cheese serves 5 so we bought 3 orders. We ordered online first thing in the morning for a 7pm pick up just to ensure our order could be fulfilled. We picked up our order and drove 2.5 hours home. The next day when we were planning on eating the meal, we opened the containers and my family and I were so disappointed to see all 3 of them were only 1/4 filled! There is absolutely no way this is a serving for 5 people! The restaurant must have ran out and scrapped the bottom of the bowl just to fill the bottom of each container and process the order. Disappointment is an understatement. We had to make another meal to supplement the lack of food we received. I have a picture if you would care to see it. Based on this experience, I would never consider coming back again. I feel completely ripped off. I also filed a complaint on their website and have yet to get a response. Just goes to show Cracker Barrel doesn’t really care about your feedback or your continued business
