One of my top 5 worst meals of all time. I had the Biscuit Benny and my wife had the breakfast sandwich. The hollandaise sauce was cold and broke and gritty. The ham was dried out and and very salty. The hash browns were cold, practically raw and gummy. One fruit was brown and warm. Didn’t get a chance to discuss this with the Server as she brought the check right after she brought out the food and we didn’t see her again.

The quality of the food is lacking. Its hit or miss. My meal taste watered down. My waitress was obviously rude and continued to serve my table after I requested a new waitress. The Manager never came out to address my concern at that time. I called later that evening to report the waitress along with the meal. We were given a refund on my meal but I can never eat there again. I’m fed up with the poor service. The Manager offered another meal free of charge, but I respectfully declined. There was one young lady who tried to take over as my waitress, who was extremely pleasant. But that one bad apple spoiled a bunch!

The menu has all the classics but offers some new, fun dishes each season. A must do is take a nostalgic trip to the country shop you pass through on arrival. If you like Southern or comfoet food, Cracker Barrel is the place to be. The wait for food has become longer (about 30 min), and if you come at meal times, you might have to wait 15-30 min to get a table. We don’t mind the wait since you have the checker board outside and the rocking chairs, or the store to browse while you wait.

Food was very tasty, it was a little greasy but then again we ordered fried stuff so that’s to be expected. Service was great considering our server worked an 11 hour shift on a Sunday. Also we enjoyed examining the antiques on the walls.

So I’m guessing if you have been in one, you have been in all. Always good food, had pot pie last time, it was good. My wife had pot roast and no complaints. Bottomless ice tea, good service. Reasonable price. Always a good stop.

The waitress was good, but the kitchen staff has to be trained all over again! Waited over an hour for our food to come out. And no cornbread or bread! Close the place down and retrain them again!

Good food at a good price. It’s an older restaurant and while it’s supposed to look old fashioned it could probably do with some sprucing up. Don’t let that deter you though. The store is great too, especially the candy.
