Pretty good food we had. I had the crusted pork chops which is only there for Saturday’s. Their sweet tea is really good, not overly sweet. Everything had good flavor & I loved the mac & cheese! Great experience! Our server Marcus was excellent; he checked on my table multiple times, always offered refills, and kindly told us about their special offers. We were seated very quickly and the wait for our food was reasonable, being that they were very busy. Our food was amazing as well. Their breaded chicken was flakey, buttery, and perfectly crisp. The service was ok the waiter would forget things and than come back and ask again if we need anything and I would tell him again but it would a long wait for a refill and we had to ask for the bread. My meatloaf wasn’t cooked all the way through it was still pink in some areas,made me feel sick .

Country fried steak was pretty good so is their fried chicken, biscuits, blue berry syrup and the pancakes. Gravy doesn’t taste too bad. Friendly waiters and waitress they also have a nice little store to shop I will be going back for a third time. The food is good and can fill you up.

The portions are definitely getting smaller. But, the taste is good. $7 for a “bowl” of turnip greens that wasn’t even full is a bit much. $12 for a single chicken breast, a small scoop of green beans and a serving of fried apples. So, be prepared for inflation. But, the flavor is still there so be thankful for that.

The best chicken pot pies anywhere. It’s a large place. I like to be tucked in a both for privacy. I don’t think you can get much of that there. Busy so you’re left waiting or ignored for refills. Cute gift shop

It is nice they have a store inside the restaurant as you can browse around while you are waiting to be seated. We had a big party with 5 hungry children so the toys in the store entertained them. Very good portions for the price and our waitress was really nice. The food was good. The atmosphere inside felt really cozy.
