Terrible experience! We got seated at 11:25 a.m. but did not get served until 12:15 p.m. — yes, 50 minutes for Cracker Barrel! The manager came over once and didn’t apologize, but instead offered some excuse about the order going to the wrong side and that the kitchen was backed up, he then added that there were others who were still waiting ahead of us — basically, he stood around and watched patrons eat (or rather, wait on their meals) and did nothing to fix the backlog. When the order came, three of the meals were correct, but mine, of course, was wrong — I ordered two eggs, over medium, but they were fried so hard that the DOT could have used them to fill a pothole! Come on Cracker Barrel in Harrisonburg, step up your game, or move on!

Outstanding service from Meghan Shephard and the manager on duty. The place was packed, but we still got seated and served quickly. The food was fresh and good. Update: My family and I went again today for an early dinner. They have new offerings, so I tried the home style chicken and French toast, my son had a barrel burger, and my wife had the maple bacon chicken. All were very good, well cooked and the service was great.

Very poor experience today, april 9th, 2023. i was at Cracker Barrel Harrisonburg for lunch, the meat the served me wasraw! I asked for a change or to replace my dish and the manager told me that this was how they cooked it. She refused to change my plate, I ended up eating slow cole and corn bread with butter. Happy easter!
