Great stop here with friendly service. This CB is located right next to the interstate and I knew that they would be easy to access with dedicated parking for RVs. That made for a simple choice.

I visited this location with my friend and her daughter on April 23, 2023 around 4:25pm and the service was terrible due to poor management. I ordered butter milk pancakes, and French toast. When the waiter brought our food to our table I mentioned to him that the pancakes and French toast were smaller than usual and that I would like to speak to a manager. A female manager came to the table and I told her I’ve eaten at this location several of times and never seen such small portions of food like this before. I asked her if she could remove my order from my bill because I wasn’t going to pay full price for food that looks half price and she said I can make you another pancake, but wasn’t going to remove my order. When my friends food came to the table they had brought her bad fruit and when I asked to speak to the manager she took almost 30 minutes to come over to our table because she was sitting talking with someone she knew at another table instead of tending to her customers knowing it was busy. She took the fruit off the bill but not my order, so I ended up paying for food I didn’t really eat. I notified another manager in the store area named Eric as I was leaving what had happened and he said if he knew that I wasn’t happy with my order he would have removed the items off my bill. He did give me a Coupon card for 2 entree’s on another visit to any Cracker Barrel, but I advised him I will not be coming back to this location because of what happened on this day and some other days. I don’t blame the employees, in order to have great service you need to have great leadership and this location doesn’t have that.

Food is decent for breakfast. The service was kind of slack, given how slow it was. I’ve never had anything other than breakfast here so I can’t comment on lunch or dinner. They do serve alcohol, which I believe is something they just started doing. All in all, for the price it isn’t half bad. The peg game is a great time killer.

We have eaten at this particular Cracker Barrel before and had no issues. We were at the Apple Festival and called ahead for seating. Got there and we weren’t on the list. So, we waited 20 minutes, maybe a little longer and the round table that had been empty the entire time is where they seated us. The server was pleasant but service was incredibly slow!!! The baked potato was cold. Two of us got the chicken and dumplings. Mine had lots and lots of chicken. The other one had one piece.Drink refills finally came when we were ready to leave after she asked 3 times what people were drinking but didn’t return with the drinks. We had to ask for the biscuits and corn muffins that were supposed to be included with three meals. The corn muffins were brick hard. We got no butter, apple butter ot jelly. It was a major disappointment.

Wait was long….very long,but our server was Awesome!! I was a server for many years and I’ve always said one thing that most (some) men are better servers than women and even with a lot of tables in his area he was a star! So I commend this person for being sure that we as well as everyone around us in his section were happy and had what we needed. It’s a breath of fresh air

Tonight was horrible, possibly the worst dining experience of my life. Service was incredibly slow- waiting upwards of an hour for food, even though they were not busy. Then the food arrived, and left much to be desired. As you can see, the lettuce was so brown it was inedible, the typically fabulous hash browns were mush with burnt hunks, the meatloaf cold and runny, the grilled tenders were burnt. Not to mention the restaurant was out of basic staples such as straws and dumplings. Getting biscuits or refills required multiple requests. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, she clearly did not care. This is frustrating and not what I expect from Cracker Barrel.

Love this Cracker Barrel. This past weekend we had phenomenal service by Jonathan and our food was piping hot and delicious. The manager Cassie is so friendly and is all hands on deck at all times in every position it seems. She knows how to run a restaurant and that is rare these days.

My wife went to eat there tonight to eat with her mom for Mother’s day. I asked her to bring me home a large order of chicken and dumplings. They charged her 8.99 for this insufficient amount of food, I haven’t eaten beforw this photo was taken, as chicken and dumplings with 2 sides cost the same with more food. If we didn’t live in Travelers Rest 20 miles away we would have taken these back. My point is check your food before ypu leave because they will screw something up. I have always enjoyed this restaurant (this actual location) but this isn’t the first bad experience we’ve had here.

This should be a 4 star review. However, the ultra slow service drops it down to 3. Food was great, however it took an hour from the time we ordered to get our food. There were several open tables, so my guess is that they are short staffed. I’d go back again, as we usually visit there when we are up this way. Hopefully next time they will be fully staffed.
