We came here for dinner the other night and even with a larger party we were seated quickly. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We loved the fresh warm biscuits and our food came out in a timely manner and we all really enjoyed our dinner. The gift store is always fun to peruse and you can find all kinds of fun treasures in it.

I stopped here while out on a roadtrip. It was Wednesday evening around 6:30 and I was seated right away. My default fried fish plate is no longer on the menu and I am really bummed. The menu has recently changed and the number of options are scaled back. Tonight, I tried pot roast with mashed potatoes and another veggie. The meat was quite tender. I could even cut it with my fork. The brown gravy is nothing special. Tastes like a pack mix. The biscuits where tasty as always. The service was prompt and food arrived quickly. Overall, I enjoyed this as a quick meal and was back on the road in no time.

Gobot’s On the trail.
First time here to this particular location on a busy Sunday afternoon. As always did the mobile app check in got there waited about 7 mins for our table the floor at the table we was sitting at was so filthy dirty and dingy my shoes constantly was speaking to the floor doesn’t look like it’s been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. My Second issue was our waiter was wearing headphones and only brought me my sides I order for my meal not my pancakes that I ordered and our bill was still wrong after he fixed it the first time had to have a manager fix the bill very dissatisfied for how much we paid I understand they are short staffed but overall wouldn’t come back to this particular location again.

Breakfast was okay, but I asked for over-easy eggs, and they were hard all the way through. I heard they were short on help, so I didn’t complain. Also cannot believe they charge extra for “regular” hash browns, instead of that cooked to death hash brown casserole. The bacon, biscuits, and gravy were good. Coffee was also good. Nice waitress.

After an 8 hour drive back to SC, we decided to stop to get food to take home so I ordered online, parked in a takeout spot, called the number on the plaque outside SEVERAL times to let them know I was there, couldn’t reach anyone, watched a few cars get their food brought out to them, after 10 mins of trying to get though a young girl answers the phone, I say: “I’m here to pick up my order” and she days “Ok” and hung up, waited almost a total of 30 minutes, my husband finally goes in, they couldn’t find my food, my fish was cooked so hard that I couldn’t eat it, loaded hash brown casserole was just shredded potatoes with melted cheese on top, my husband’s loaded baked potato only had cheese melted on top as his piece of chicken swam in turnip green juice… I did get well cooked broccoli and turnip greens out of the visit. It just irritated me that I tipped them for such sorry service.

I was here for breakfast on Saturday the food was ok but there was a dog in the restaurant walking by tables wagging his tail that almost landed in out plate. I understand service animals but I feel they should have a special area for them and not be allowed to walk between tables with narrow Isles. I am not a lover of animals and I should be able to have a meal without having to deal with them just as they can have them inside rights go both ways.

This was not my most favorite visit to my favorite restaurant! This specific location was just not the great lest dining service I always get and it’s not bc they were super busy, they weren’t and then my waitress didn’t get half the order right and forgot to put in the Togo order so I ended up waiting to get it to my husband and find it was also incorrect and added sides I didnt want but paid extra as well for them..I love cracker barrel but this was the worst service I ever got there and I did try to speak to the manager who looked at me like I bothered her and she asked me “what do you want me to do?” So sorry but I won’t be back!!
