Over the last few months or so, we have been frequenting this Cracker Barrel for takeout. Each time has been great. From the fried chicken, to the pancakes, to the French toast, bacon, grits, apples, macaroni and cheese you name it. It’s all delicious. My husband has been sticking to the meatloaf, turnips and okra mostly. I guess it’s safe to say that is either his favorite or just his go-to, but either way, no complaints from this side. My daughter enjoys the French toast and homestyle chicken. I also love their prices for what you get. Staff encountered is usually friendly too.

I never been to a Cracker Barrel till our new Masjid is built across Cracker Barrel in Suwanee. Now we come to masjid and go with our group of friends and enjoy breakfast there. There customers is amazing. The staff is professional. Today our server Diana and manager Hadia did an amazing job. They went above and beyond to make sure our group have wonderful experience.

They serve alcohol now?? This was a shocker, but I hadn’t been there in a while. We had the best server, Darrin. Very nice and attentive. He knew everything about the menu and he was very helpful. Their French Toast is the BEST in the business. Good biscuits and jellies. Good amount of servings. Will generally always come back because of the good food…you always know what to expect. Quality has not really changed all that much over the years.

In full transparency, the manager acknowledged my concerns and even used her code to give me a discount. However, the experience itself just left a bad impression thus my review here. It was a busy Saturday morning but coming alone, I got a table quickly. From that point, it took over 10 minutes for a server to come by and offer coffee. She was new and clearly flustered. I asked for few options and it was met with no or can’t do that. After placing order, food arrived just about 30 minutes from time I sat down. Steak was way over cooked. Server never came until I was done eating or about 20 minutes after with me requesting another person for more coffee. I get that everyone starts new at some point but on a busy day to wait this long for this type of food was not what I had in mind!

We got a bad staff member I can’t right the whole off because she was definitely the problem. She had 5 stars too… She needs them all taken away. Sat down and had to wait 15 minutes before she said she’d be right with us. She had already made 2 appearances at a nearby table. Never speaking to us. I had to finally go ask someone up front to help us find service. Then the attitude she was throwing. It was not a good experience at all. But the food was excellent! I love their pancakes I’d say they’re the best. And all the rest too. I am just very fond of them because they’re unique and good. It would seem if they’ve cut costs like they did with thick cut bacon they didn’t do it to them.

We had to wait 15-20 minutes to get our order taken. The waitress for our section was only taking care of one table at a time. She was definitely new. The drinks took like 10 minutes to come out. My friends ordered two ICED caramel lattes and she brought out one hot latte and claimed they said hot. She tried to tell us we ordered stuff we didn’t order or just would say “that’s not how it comes” or whatever and most of our food was wrong or just not good. The eggs were cold and overcooked. The manager had to come over and fix the issues we had. We got the right food when the manager fixed it. Mediocre food and bad service. The waitress needs more training or just a new job. I understand being new but you can’t be rude to customers and ignore your tables if you’re going to be in the food industry.

Went for dinner, we walked in and as always we walked to the host station. At this time no one was there, we waited. Finally someone showed. We were seated. Frome here on everything was smooth, our server was Tansley. She was great, on the ball, smiling, pleasant. We started with Fried Pickles; then had Chicken Fried Steak, Grandma’s Sampler and Broccoli Cheddar Chicken. All was very good. We shopped a bit, after all Christmas is around the corner.

The food was delicious. Always has a good selection. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. Michaela our waitress was nice and friendly. Not very attentive. Once we ordered never saw her again until it was time for the bill. Had to ask someone else to get us a knife to cut our dinner. I would still recommend this place because the food was good.
