I ordered medium rare steak and got not even medium well done. They are recooking my steak and the wait has made the rest of my food cold. The server didn’t bring out the apple butter until I reminded her that we ordered it.

Very nice. Our waitress “Ireland” was attentive and courteous. Our food was very good, out in a timely manner.

Disappointing today.. we come here often it’s hit or miss. Today was a miss.. 20 minutes before we were greeted and drink orders after being seated due to confusion as to who’s table we were. Grilled tenders were “extra crispy” and tasted like charcoal. Do they not look at the food before they take it out? Servers were doing their best and very friendly. Overall a frustrating visit tho

Wife and I both had the chicken fried steak and it was great. My plate was really good, my wife’s greens had green beans in it so not sure if it’s normal or what. A party of 15 came in after we sat down, and a couple near us as well. They all had their food before we got ours, matter of fact, they had drinks before we did as well. Our services suffered due to the larger group. Then I’m guessing it’s normal for someone with face piercings to be a waitress now. Wasn’t use to that. Yes I have family members with piercings and tattoos but didn’t expect cracker barrel to have them face to face with customers. New normal, ok service and metal pieces in their face.

While our waitress was nice, it took over 45 minutes for breakfast for 3 to come out. There was no wait when we got there, we ordered pretty quickly too. Apparantly the kitchen was behind. I wish they would have let us know as we had somewhere to be (2 miles away) at 11am. We sat down at 950am, ordered food at 10. Didn’t get our food until 1048am.

The wait for a table was to be expected, what wasn’t was the fact that for 2 adults and a child it took over an hour after we ordered to get our food. We were told the only thing we were waiting for was a hamburger steak. Took about another 15 minutes after that, and only after I consulted a manager. We also had to ask a different server to actually get bread. By the time food came, we were needing to get somewhere else, so pretty much immediately got to go boxes. The food wasn’t anything special, even by crackerbarrel standards.

We eat here every week or two. The food is usually good but service is slow & they take forever seating people even when there’s open seats. May 8 we dined in for lunch. Our waitress was ridiculously rude, which is uncommon here. I ticked her off because I asked if I could purchase an extra $5 take home meal as I was taking these meals to the nursing home. She told me absolutely not. The lady dining beside my table heard her rude reply & told me that she was not buying one & I could buy hers since the waitress said only one take home meal per person. When I told the waitress she blew up & walked away with me and the lady trying to calmly explain to her that she was not going to use her deal and that I could use the deal. We were trying to explain it was for an elderly vet. I always take my parents a meal to the nursing home. There is a elderly vet who always asks for a meal when I visit. The waitress returned and said her manager said I could only this once and not to ask again because it’s against policy. The waitress from then on ignored my table, refusing to refill my tea, and when I ask for a to go box, she sent another girl to our table. When she brought me my ticket, she slammed the ticket so hard on my to-go box that she cracked the lid and did not apologize or even bother telling us goodbye or thanking us for our service. When I paid for our meals, I heard another employee state that the store manager was in a meeting so the waitress obviously lied when she said her store manager told me not to ask again. We have been coming to this location for 2 years. We come every week to two weeks. And we will not be back. Two weeks before, I brought my family of six & we did not purchase $5 take home meals. Not everyone purchases these deals so there was no need to behave in such a manner over something so frivolous as a $5 meal! I will not be spending my hard earned money at this location. I treated this waitress with dignity & respect, and I expect the same treatment in return.

I have attempted to eat at this location 3 times in the past month. My typical meal Is thevegetable plate, i get two carrots and two dumplings. The first 2 Times they were out of carrots, and this, the third time they were out of carrots and dumplings. I left without eating all 3 times. The management in this location appears to need a refresher course in ordering or prepping. This ti.e I ordered online, so I had to wait 30 minutes to find out there was no food waiting for me. I am disgusted with this location and will never return. Thank goodness I travel a lot and will get to enjoy Cracker Barrel food at other properly managed locations.

I ate at the Cartersville, Ga. location on Wednesday, 8/2/23 around 12 pm and got a very late breakfast. The pancakes are the best anywhere around. I picked up a to go plate for $5 and I ate it for lunch today (Chicken breast & Mac-n-cheese), which was fantastic. I am glad Cracker Barrel is now offering the $5 meals to go when you purchase another meal.
