Has a beautifully stocked store front with candies, chocolates, ornaments, Christmas displays and Halloween. From clothing to furniture. It’s a very sweet place with lots of items to browse through and purchase. I was very impressed and surprised by this. The restaurant was amazing and the service was great too. The menu has all day breakfast items, specials both daily and everyday, many menu options to choose from and kids friendly! Games are free to play such as checkers that’s the size of coasters. There’s rocking chairs in the front of the restaurant and store. We were their last customers and they didn’t rush us. I had the catfish and it was delicious. The bathrooms are nice and clean. High chairs are available and a baby changing area in the bathroom. Prices on their menu are reasonable and there’s lots of seasonal choices as well. Drinks and desserts too.

When I go for lunch or dinner I usually get the Sunday Homestyle Chicken. This last time was very disappointing and shows that things are changing. The chicken was pounded out so much it was flat and dried out. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said she would mention it to the kitchen staff. I hope that is true. The second breast wasn’t as bad but neither of them was the nice juicy, crispy piece that they usually serve. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm so the cheese and butter wouldn’t melt. The coleslaw wasn’t bad.

Server took our order, brought the food, brought no napkins. Asked for more water twice. Had to ask another server for water. Asked for hit sauce and ketchup, had to find it at a neighbors table and ask them for it. Not a particularly busy day, Friday morning, parking lot mostly empty.
