There was a little bit of a wait, until a waiter from another section came to attend to us, but Jordan, he went above and Beyond! He was quick, witty, funny, attentive, and had the absolute BEST advice about the menu! I’m SO GLAD I listened to him about the entree (the chicken was SO tender and juicy, and the tomatoes and fresh chives were the Perfect touch!!), and the fried okra-WAY better than any hashbrowns, no matter how smothered in toppings, could have been- the best fried okra I’ve ever had! Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience, JORDAN! I’ll ask for you next time!

So I’ve never been a fan of cracker barrel, but thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately, I left with the same feeling as I had before I entered. Food quality was mediocre. Cold eggs and small portions. Chewy bacon and not even cooked fully. Toast was room temperature. Tried to get refills of drinks, but could barely get a server to acknowledge us. For the prices we paid, it definitely wasn’t worth the stop along our drive

We’ve been going to Cracker Barrel for decades. Never thought i would decide to NEVER go back again. Worst experience ever. They actually brought out our plate with the food burned. It was literally black on both sides. Horrible service. Never checked on us. It was not busy. Waitresses standing around talking to each other. NO EXCUSE whatsoever to have that kind of service. Definitely not how it used to be.

The period from 2-5pm is using the slow period for business at restaurants. Some tables are usually still loaded with dishes and glasses from the dinner rush. Surprisingly, this Cracker Barrel was clean. When I travel to SC from Middle Tennessee, I like to stop at this Cracker Barrel restaurant because it is halfway in my trip. The server I had there was the best server that I have ever encountered there. Her name was Sierra. She was very cordial and very efficient. I would even go as far as saying that she is a “Super Server.”
