Cracker Barrel is a delightful restaurant with a charming, rustic atmosphere. Their classic American comfort food is delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The friendly staff adds to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, the attached country store offers a variety of unique gifts and nostalgic items.

Decided to hit up Cracker Barrel today for early dinner. Ordered the Momma’s Pancake Breakfast . The 3 pancakes were cooked perfectly, tasted delicious, you get little bottles of warm syrup for the pancakes. The eggs were cooked perfect over medium. On to the issue, the sausage was less than look warm and tough. Not good at all. On to the Best thing today was our waitress Shelia. Funny that it was her first day. She was phenomenal and has to be a seasoned veteran from somewhere else. She was checking for more water and for anything else we needed in a timely manner.

Today for Sunday brunch, my group of guys visited Cracker Barrel in Grove City. Upon arrival, I made my way to the host station and was greeted politely and gave my name and number. The wait was minimal and seemed quite normal as the restaurant was busy.

Got the fried chicken, which is good, but tasted like it had been under a heat lamp. Clearly was not straight out of the fryer. Broccoli was very good as well as biscuits. Would have given 5 stars if they weren’t lazy with the chicken. Waitress did a good job.

There were very few cheese curds it wasn’t even funny the biscuits were salty the pancakes were ok and my husband didn’t care for what he got personally I think buffalo wild wings’s cheese curds are better and Bob Evans pancakes are better but the workers when I picked up my order was nice

There was no ranch or french dressing, and the salad wasn’t very good. The corn was not fixed with the Parmesan cheese. It tasted good but was just regular. The wait was long but I could have been ok with that if I had better sides. The chicken was good.

Last time we went to Ohio was during COVID, so we didn’t get to experience eating at the restaurant. The attendees are friendly and the food was delicious.

This review was almost written totally different. Here’s why and I apologize for the length. My wife, my sister and I traveled to Ohio to spend a few days with my brother and his family. As we were leaving on the last day, we went out for breakfast together and wound up at Cracker Barrel. My wife and I usually prefer something more unique to the area we’re visiting but CB is always reliably good. We were seated quickly in an empty section next to the windows at the far end of the room. Other groups were seated over the next 15 minutes and still no waiter. We talked about going somewhere else but since we were in separate cars, we were reluctant to do so. Finally, after about half an hour (no exaggeration!) as we were getting ready to leave, a waitress appeared and started taking drink orders…. at the other end of the room. By this time there were eight other parties in the room. We got the waitress’s attention (not rudely) and she gave us several excuses. The message conveyed? It’s not my fault, you’ll just have to wait. We were preparing to leave when the manager came by. Honestly, we gave him an ear full. No cursing or raised voices, just an expression of our disappointment at such shoddy service. He apologized and waited on us himself for the remainder of the meal. When we prepared to leave, we asked for the bill and the waitress said it had already been taken care of. We didn’t expect or want a free meal, we just wanted to be treated as paying customers should be but we graciously accepted. The moral is that this restaurant is struggling with inexperienced staff so your experience may vary but the manager is working very hard to improve his restaurant. I’d go back, given the opportunity.
