Typical Cracker Barrel with a fabulous waitress Regina. She really made the night fun! Brought plenty of drinks and checked on us often. Has a fun, playful attitude. Made the dinner great! I normally only trust getting breakfast food at Cracker Barrel, but this time I tried the cheesy fried chicken bacon special. And it was really good! Soda tasted off. We had both Coke and Dr Pepper and something didn’t seem right, maybe not enough syrup. Decent prices, except drink prices. Overall, we got what we were expecting, except even more fun with the waitress.

I took my children to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and was highly disappointed. The hashbrowns were burned and the supervisor had the nerve to tell me that’s how people prefer them. I’m trying to figure out who or why someone would want burned hashbrowns. I then asked him if he would eat them since they were put on my daughters plate and he said no. Then proceeded to say that management are the ones cooking. The food was horrible. It took an hour for 3 people to get food and nothing was made any different from the menu. Cracker Barrel has definitely went down. Melissa my waitress is as awesome and continued to apologize for my bad experience. I will not be back.

Cracker Barrel is very good. They have dinner specials that are reasonably priced & taste good. The service is pleasant & quick. They have a nice gift store with a wide variety of merchandise too. I recommend the Lemon Pepper Rainbow Trout and the Country Fried Steak and the cheddar chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed carrots and country fried chicken. I also recommend the sirloin steak with green beans, baby carrots and fried apples. It is usually not too crowded before 5pm. Breakfast food for dinner is always great too.

We normally have no issues when we go to this place but our last visit left me a little upset. My husband ordered the sirloin steak sampler medium. When he cut it open it was very rare! Takeout was pretty bad. Asked for curbside due to an injury and waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come out after checking in on the app and calling (on a Thursday evening when it was not busy) If they are having a staff shortage it’s understandable but maybe explain that to the customer when giving them the food. I got the feeling that nobody wanted to bring the food out. Probably won’t go back.

I am not nor normally a fan of Cracker Barrel’s food, but this meal was the exception. Kind, friendly service, generous portions, and a very clean, family oriented atmosphere. I have a gift card, so I will give them another try.

We didn’t have a good experience at all. We ordered the chicken and French toast. The chicken was not cooked thoroughly, and I sent it back. She brought me back a new plate and the second chicken wasn’t cooked thoroughly either. All of us lost our appetite….
