This was my first ever experience at this restaurant and it was amazing! When you enter, there’s a store with all kinds of unique (want a rooster snow globe?) and higher quality items (shirts, scarfs, games, books, candy, etc), though overpriced. The seating was spacious and the service was awesome!! Not too involved but always attentive. The food was excellent (went for breakfast) with many very fairly priced items compared to other breakfast chains. I ordered biscuits and gravy and got a side of grits..my only (small) complaint was the size was tiny, but then again it was only $1.99 .. so can’t really complain. The grits were amazing! The decor is unique and entertaining and on that note, every table has a little game to play while waiting for food. There’s a real fireplace burning and it felt cozy. It wasn’t busy when I went either so that helped the relaxing feeling… Like at grandma’s on the farm. Can’t wait to try lunch and dinner here!! Really loved it!!

Our server was wonderful. I never had the chicken fried chicken before today. It was great, and so big that I had another meal to take home. Arrived about 4:00 for a late lunch. It was perfect timing. The place was very empty and quiet.

The food was great at this location and they never disappoint me with the temperature of the food either but I had issues getting my meal with the online app. I ordered my food through the app and stated that I would like to receive it 45mins later but that turned into 1.5hrs. I know places can get busy but when I walked in to ask about the progress, you can hear in their voice that it wasn’t even started. I recommend the food if you can handle their service.

Our service and atmosphere are still top-notch, but whatever value adjustments to their menu are very obvious. The grits are soup and watery, the sausage gravy lacks any flavor, and any decent sides are now an upcharge. Instead of making their food taste better and offering more healthier choices of food to draw younger demographics, they’re making their food Bland or just bad, which will drive everybody away.

First time visitors and we loved it! Did not care for the store entrance as we were confused about where to go , but figured it out. Staff was pretty great . The food was delicious and decently priced a little on the expensive side on some things. Over all was a good experience.

I had the daily special today was Turkey and dressing for $11.99, it was very tasty. They have a different special each day and a variety of new drinks. The server was friendly and we always enjoy browsing the country store.
