I have always loved cracker barrel! I was worried when they did the makeover but have been excited with the changes. I miss my usual, which I could ale cart myself, but the new menu items have not disappointed. The atmosphere is still warm cozy and inviting and the store is neat to browse. I have not had bad service at a crackle barrel ever, and they still appear to be great at getting good employees.

Fast friendly service even up to closing time! We got off our aircraft late, and made it to Cracker Barrel with just fifteen minutes left before closing. Even then, they whipped out fresh baked biscuits, nice tender roast beef, and meat loaf dinner. Good food even up to the end. The service was casual, and they said “no need to rush, take your time”. So Kudos for making us feel welcome, even if we did keep you past the nine PM closing. Thanks!

This is a fair Cracker Barrel, we were seated rather quickly but waited 10 minutes to have a server come take our order – we had several servers look at our table but didn’t come check on us. When we finally did get a server she did apologize for our long wait, she took our drink and food order together. We got our drinks right after but waited about 20 minutes for our food – our food came out at the same time as a table that came in after ours. Our food was good and our server did check on us regularly but they weren’t overly busy and the one younger guy, dressed in a button down shirt and slacks, (who I believe was a manager) talked to the table in front of us and behind us but not us and then we never saw him again. Not the best Cracker Barrel experience I’ve had.

Breakfast was delicious and filling. We love sitting near the fire, the gift shop was surprisingly not overpriced. They have beautiful gifts staged to put you in the mood for CHRISTmas.

The service was friendly and we were seated immediately. I ordered the country vegetable platter. For $8.99 you get four sides from the sides list. I ordered carrots, corn and double mashed potatoes. This is what I received. It tasted good but the portions were tiny sized. I don’t like to complain but I order this often and it is usually almost twice the amount of food. I left hungry but will still give the place another try because it was always one of my favorites for a casual meal.
