If you eat in it’s pretty decent food. Take-out is something they should stop doing as it isn’t one of their strengths. Part of my order was 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar. What I received was maybe half of a cold scrambled egg with cheese on one small piece of the egg. The rest of the food was barely warm. In the unlikely event I do take-out again I’ll be sure to check my food at the restaurant and certainly wait to leave tip.

I visited for breakfast by myself on a Friday morning. I was seated immediately. I was served promptly, and the breakfast foods (Momma’s Breakfast–eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes)–were delicious. The server brought 2 of their warmed-up pure maple syrup without my having to ask. This pleasant experience was just as I expected from prior visits.

I ordered chicken fingers and my husband ordered chicken pot pie. His was fully cooked. When I bit into one of the fingers it was crunchy as if not finished cooking. Due to my cancer, and low immune system, I ask for it to be cooked some more. Instead, the manager, Jason came out and argued with me about whether the chicken was cooked or not. I told him to remove the item from the bill and we left the restaurant. Better customer service would have been to heat it up for another minute as requested.

When I go out to eat, it is usually to a local independent restaurant. Cracker Barrel still gets some visits due to their unique sides and meal offerings (greens, dumplings, etc.). I’ve been fortunate enough to have never had a bad experience here, even during the weird times after restaurants started re-opening after the Covid closures.

Food came out dry like it was under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. Ordered fries to be delivered as an appetizer but still came out with the food. For some reason the waitress brought the biscuits out before the meal when I had ordered the country boy meal that came with biscuits and gravy. She also didn’t refill any of our drinks. Couldn’t wait to get out of there! Def won’t be going back! The place works off nostalgia. Save your money and go somewhere else. Terrible food. Terrible service. Over priced.

Food was very good and I loved the atmosphere. Really enjoyed shopping after our meal, and the shop attendant took time out to chat with us for a bit. We really liked relaxing after our meal in a couple rocking chairs on the front porch! so glad we stopped!

Haven’t been here in awhile, forgot how great this place is! Our food was so good, my husband’s burger was like one we would grill at home. My salad was super tasty and the filled sweet potatoes was delicious. We also ordered two chicken dinners for later tonight for only $5 each. Totally bill for our meal (4 total) and our drinks was only $35. And a shout out to Julie, she was a super good server and was always there checking on us even though it was very busy.
