AMAZING!!! BREAKFAST ALL DAY!! Love the shop! Great Food at Great prices, which is hard to come by lately. The sweet potato was baked to perfection and is always my go to side!! There were 11 of us. Took an hour to have our order taken because the host had assigned the server a 11 top, 8 top and 6 tomatoes the same time and he had no help. Food was cold and one plate very gross looking. Corn muffins were burned. Manager couldn’t provide enough excuse, so she comped the meal. BTW, the server had only 1 star, host had 4.

My wife and I love this Cracker Barrel! We usually come here for dinner a few times a month. The service and food is great! Some of our favorite menu items include the maple bacon chicken, grilled chicken tenders, Wednesday special broccoli cheddar chicken, hash brown casserole, carrots and green beans! I just wish they still had the sourdough croutons and French dressing for salads! The salad dressing options are very limited.

Stopped at this Morton, Illinois Cracker Barrel for this first dining experience on what was to become a 12-day trip to the southeastern US. We weren’t disappointed. Excellent food as usual by a prompt waitress. I chose the fried chicken dinner (may favorite.) What was REALLY important to us was that the restrooms were clean, even at this mid-afternoon hour. Keep up the good work Morton Cracker Barrel !!!

Order fried chicken. You could tell they had left this over under the heat lamps. Was all dried out and tough. And why is it that someone feels the need to pepper everything?? I can’t eat pepper but my food was ruined with what some cook thinks is a good idea. Hey… Why bother with the shakers on the tables?? The waitress was a sweet girl but when we told her about the dried out chicken. She just shrugged. Atmosphere felt like a day care center with all the kids screaming. We were in the back room but we noticed there were no kids in front dining area. Thanks appreciate the chorus of screams.

Listen here FOLKS!! Country cooking!! never gets old!! We all love it. That’s why they have these wonderful restaurants all over the country directly off the exit! This one here.. is exceptional. Great service, great gift shop , & obviously great food! I’ve had most everything on the menu over the decades of eating at these fantastic restaurants!! This time I’m getting the hamburger steak:)) And I’ll probably be back in the morning for…. Their unbelievable COUNTRY BREAKFAST!! . Good eating Folks!

My husband and I have eaten at this location fairly often and travel almost 60 miles to do so. Today was our last visit. They have taken portion sizes down too dramatically. We weren’t served on regular plates but salad plates. My meatloaf looked like shaved meat instead of meatloaf. My husband’s turkey special portion was so small my 10 month old great grandson could have eaten it all. My macaroni and cheese was scorched, which is odd considering all of our food was cold. I got mill gravy on my meal instead of the brown gravy I requested. I understand food prices have increased but the portions were less than half of what they used to be and the quality went down by more than half. It wasn’t the fault of our server but if I could leave negative stars for the food I would.

This place was packed when we got there. Had to wait just a little. They cleared tables pretty quickly. Food was your typical cracker barrel food. It tasted good and was hot when it was brought to the table.
