Mostly dine at Cracker Barrel’s for the breakfast. Stopped in for an early dinner. Seated relatively quickly. Hostess was receptive to my request to be seated at a different table. Tried the watermelon lemonade. A tad too sweet but you could definitely taste the watermelon. A big fan of the cornbread muffins. The Salisbury steak or smothered steak was delicious. The turnip greens were good with some pepper sauce. The mashed potatoes were yummy. I was very pleased with my meal. My server was very polite and attentive. It took a while to check out. The cashier was checking out diners and handling to go orders. He needed assistance. Others it was a great dining experience.

Cracker Barrel is a place I’ve gone to for years good food, a good atmosphere, clean bathrooms. But I’ve noticed the past few years changes with Cracker Barrel that lead to a lot of confusion in their pricing and menu. I ordered a breakfast one of my sides were hashbrowns they were on the list of sides but yet I was charged for the hashbrowns when I asked why she said plain hash browns are a premium side… well that was news to me because I always order hashbrowns and have never had a problem with it so I looked at their menu and I looked at their premium sides and their regular sides and to be honest with you I couldn’t see plain hashbrowns at all. She took it off the ticket but it only confirms that it’s very important to look at your ticket before you pay.

Horrible experience. I was served ROTTEN BACON. We were the first people in the restaurant and the waitress treated us as if we were an inconvenience to her. I was made to pour my own drink when it has been poured in the kitchen in the past, and I was rudely told no when I asked to customize my order. When my food DID come, the bacon reeked so badly that it put everyone off their meals. There were several chances to catch this before it reached the table. Abhorrent and disgusting.

The meal was good. Me and my friend had the special which was fried pork chops with two sides. I had corn and mashed potatoes with gravy. My daughter had Mac and cheese. The service was fast and friendly. Enjoyed it

I only have one complaint the breakfast was super good that me and my dad enjoyed but please from military child please don’t serve your grits then like water again! There suppose be thick and stick to your ribs how I was told they always needed be never runny! Please make grits thick and yummy not sad and runny! I was looking forward to bowl grits tell they came out like water I had drink them from the bowl
