I wish I could give less than one star. Me and my husband had a terrible experience here the day before yesterday. We arrived and checked in and didn’t wait very long. This was the only good experience we had there. We waited to be seated and when we were they seated us at a table where a spill hadn’t been cleaned up. There was a puddle underneath the table that went into the walkway and there was a puddle in one of the seats. When I finally got the attention of one of the hostesses she told the other one, with freshly red dyed hair, and she replied with “what am I supposed to do about it?” So she went and asked a busboy if he could clean it up instead. He came over and cleaned the chair with a wet rag and then grabbed a dirty used napkin from another table to dry it off, all while still leaving the puddle on the floor. We sat and watched as several people either avoided the spill or almost slipped. When our waitress finally came and took our order we asked for napkins so we could clean the puddle ourselves. A family of four who got seated well after us got their order taken and brought to them before us while we waited a very long time. When we did receive our food, the French toast wasn’t toasted, and our sausage was burnt. We watched as our waitress continuously tended to the family next to us, never once asking if we needed anything. The only times she was at our table was when she took our order, brought our food, and brought our check. It was overall such a bad experience and I was reminded once again why I do not enjoy eating here. Save your money and get breakfast at McDonalds; their staff is actually nice, it’s less of a headache, more affordable, and tastes so much better.

They never disappoint! It’s been a while since I’ve visited this location but it is still the great experience I’ve always had. The general store is awesome with unusual finds and as always the food is delicious. Can’t really tell the inflation affected their prices, and Jeanine, our server, was excellent.

Usually I have no issue with Cracker Barrel but today was just awful. Poor service and quality of food all around.

I’ve always loved Cracker Barrel. Me and my mom and sisters always meet there whenever we get together, no matter what city we’re in, if they have one. I’ve always loved the food there but, I hadn’t been there in a couple of years since I moved to Corpus Christi. (We do have one here) Well they were out of dumplings, which are my favorite, so I ordered the shrimp. I didn’t like it and their vegetables didn’t taste the same. I didn’t eat my food, but they promptly took it off my bill. I probably shouldn’t have ordered seafood somewhere else now that I live in a coastal town because it’s not going to taste right anywhere so it’s unfair for me to say that the food isn’t what it used to be. My taste buds aren’t what they used to be. The gift shop is always wonderful & I bought two spring time dresses. The rocking chairs out front are always a joy to sit in. Cracker Barrel is definitely above and beyond your regular evening out for dinner. I haven’t been there for breakfast in a long time but their breakfast is just out of this world! The pecan pancakes and the bacon, oh & their real maple syrup! There’s no other restaurant that can even begin to compare!

I am not a fan of cracker barrel in general, but I find this particular location disappointing. It’s understaffed, dirty (floors of the gift shop were sticky on my last visit, smells odd, and takes forever for food to be ready. The food itself is mediocre, especially their biscuits they bring to the table. It’s like going to IHOP only paying slightly more money for a lackluster dining experience. The gift shop, while entertaining in its content and variety, has prices that are practically highway robbery.

Crackerbarrel is always one of my favorite places to go on all kinds of trips and vacations. On this occasion, one of my relatives passed, and my family had a great feast a few hours before the funeral. The food was spectacular, the service was great, and the atmosphere is always a wonder to look at.
