Just recently, I had the opportunity to dine here. Not only was the service fantastic, but the food was exceptional. I ordered the pecan pancakes, impossible sausage, the beignets, and the iced cinnamon roll latte. So good. I will definitely be back.

Cracker Barrell has been a favorite destination of our family for decades, especially when we lived in the midwest. Now that we are living in an area without a local branch we made a point of planning our travels to stop at this store. Our complaint is that the portion sizes have been dramatically reduced to the point of not filling our family leaving us hungry and disappointed. Especially bad was the French toast which came with pieces of bread that looked like they were from a doll set rather than a real loaf of bread. It was unbelievable. All the other breakfast items we have traditionally ordered came with reduced sides (no extra pancake stack or grits). Even the biscuit basket seemed smaller. We may try again for nostalgia sake but this visit was very disappointing.

Had a gift card so went to check this place out. The parking lot was empty. That’s should’ve been my first clue. We get in and order. I got the chicken fried chicken with corn and masked potatoes. Chicken was actually moist and good. Potatoes and corn.. not so much. How do you get corn wrong? Anyway. No complaints with the waitress. We go to pay and my gift card wouldn’t go through. It wasn’t declining it, just error reading card. It was one of those gift cards that could be used at 1 of 4 restaurants. It was brand new so definitely not used. Cashier calls the kitchen manager and she said they have problems with those cards sometimes and there’s nothing she can do but I can call the 800 number on it. So now I have to pay full price for bland food. Since she said they have problems with these type of cards, why not put a sign up?! She said there was nothing she could do. Yes there was, she could’ve at least met me halfway and even kept the card. I get that they wouldn’t have been reimbursed but neither am I. So much for customer satisfaction. Will not go again.
