A trip to Provo from So Cal requires a stop at Cracker Barrel in St George. We time our trips so my husband can partake of Fish Fry Friday. The meatloaf was moist and delicious. I had the fried chicken salad on the way to Provo and on the way home. Reasonable prices, good size portions and good food. To top it off, they have Coke Zero!

This location used to be one of our favorite stops for a good meal with great service. Apparently, those days are gone! We stopped in this morning (Tuesday around 9am). The restaurant was not very busy but the service and food were awful. Our waitress brought out our food and left before noticing that she had not given us any utensils to eat with. She didn’t come back to check on us so I got up and got the Manager. By this time, the food was ice cold and had to be remade. Also, the photos below show the not-so-yummy French Toast the waitress brought me. I don’t know about you, but I do not like the taste of burned French Toast served so cold that it won’t melt the butter. Looks like this location has a problem with their cook AND their servers.

First time at Cracker Barrel. Waiting staff very polite and attentive but kitchen took almost an hour to get the food to the table. Had country fried chicken which was very nice. Only thing I didn’t like was having to wait in line with the country store retail customers to pay my bill.

Ok, are you ready for this? This is the best Cracker Barrel I’ve been to by far (including every state we look.for one to eat). I don’t know what is different, but it was more delicious and the salad was the best I’ve had! Last time we ate at the Layton area one and the hashbrown casserole was horrible to the point that we said we would never have it again. I told the server that and she said she would change it for me if I had the same experience again. Their hashbrown casserole was moist and fresh. Divine!!!

I came here for lunch with my grandpa, aunt, and brother, and we were all really happy with our food! I can’t remember our waitress’ name but she was so kind and helpful! She was always sure to check in to make sure everything was okay, and was quick to get us ranch when we requested it. When she saw my brother was low on ranch when I asked for some, she got me and my brother ranch! Overall, really appreciated the awesome service and delicious food we got! The chicken fried chicken, green beans, and steak fries were so tasty!!!

Our Family, my Mother and Father and my Wife and I went to enjoy a great meal together. What we we enjoying the most was our Time together. We were all Satisfied with quality of the food. But we were even more Satisfied with our Server whose name is Veronica, even know there a few Stumbles in her Service, which only was coming from her excitement and great anticipation of her Story, of being her last day, because she was moving to Fort Worth-Dallas Texas for her long awaited reunion and reunification with her Father who she hasn’t been able to spend a y quality time with for years. What a blessing it was to be a part of her story and to be able to bless in her in return from ours. God loves a cheerful heart!!!!
