Had the pleasure of having dinner with my goddaughter and her daughter today. Everyone had a craving for a good burger. We tried this new place called Craft Burger Bar. It gives you a country, western bar and grill flavor when you enter. Televisions lined the walls with a large bar.Plenty of seating. Seems to be a pretty popular place with the locals. We had a very nice waitress.

I drove in from out of town with my kids and to start our vacation we picked Craft Burgers on google maps based on food options and good reviews. The service was fast and the food looked great but one bite of my burger had me immediately spitting it out into a napkin. It had such an off taste. I asked the kids if theirs tasted normal and my one son said it was delicious and the other two were luckily too full from the appetizer because my son ended up having food poisoning and spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom. The quality of the appetizer wasn’t good either. The cheese and the chili tasted like it came from a can. I paid $90 for an appetizer, 4 burgers and 4 waters. I still left a nice tip because it wasn’t the servers fault and she did a great job. I’m glad my son is doing better today so we can enjoy the rest of our vacation but I’m never going back to Craft Burgers when we visit Chesapeake again.

Craft Burger Bar is located in Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. I usually don’t eat many burgers but when I do Craft Burger Bar is the place. I always order take out. Craft Burger Bar has great menu options to please everyone. I usually order the Rising Sun, Mac Daddy Burger, or Willie Nelson. The waffle fries and tots are good. Craft Burger Bar is extremely busy during peak hours. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes.

Great burger spot tucked into a strip mall. Next. To a Laundromat. Service was on point, Sam was super attentive and worked multiple tables with grace. Glasses were never empty. Had multiple burgers, Boss, Whiskey and Aristocrat. All came at correct temp and piled high. Fries taste double fried and the sweet potato come with brown sugar cinnamon dipping sauce. Highly recommend.

We have found a winner! It’s a hole-in-the-wall in a small strip shopping center… The food & service was excellent! Started with a local craft beer, Three Notch’d Minute Man New England IPA. On to the excellent tasting SheCrab Soup. The Thai salad was delicious. Ordered the Chesapeake Burger with raw red onions… cooked perfectly the way I asked. It was so good I came back the next day and ordered it again! Wife ordered their soft crab burger and loved it. I came into town and wanted a good burger and a beer. Craft Burger Bar exceeded my expectations… two thumbs up. I’ll be back for sure!

This was our first visit on a friend’s recommendation. It is easy to get to and has great atmosphere. We came on week night and although the place was packed, we didn’t wait to be seated. The burgers all feature wagyu beef and there are enough selections that there is bound to be option that for most.

We had a wonderful time , the food was Delicious!! I highly suggest the Chesapeake Burger to anyone who loves crabmeat. Also try the pretzel sticks appetizer , it comes with three different dipping sauces each one is delicious. The service was great to our waitress repeatedly checked on us to see if we needed anything.

Until last night, Craft Burger was our go to Burger joint. We ordered and were told that the cooking options had changed. You could have pink or well done only so one order came out practically raw, and one was a very small burned patty. I have snapshots of the 1/2 inch thick burned patty.

Had the Habanero Firecracker burger and thought it was excellent. The house made habanero sauce is awesome! I would only recommend this burger to people who like things really spicy like if you’re favorite hot sauce is Tabasco Scorpion. The nachos and onion rings were good too. If you want a good burger either come here or get the gourmet ones from the meat counter at Harris Teeter and grill them yourself.
