If you like fresh crustaceans and shellfish, the seafood platter is a must have. To add a little bit of green, I recommend the broccoli. You will get messy, but the food is absolutely worth it. Despite the unassuming interior and decent service, you will not be disappointed.

I wanted shrimp with the heads on and didn’t feel like driving so I said OK let’s see who can deliver it. I went on Uber eats and found crafty crab. There was a special, but I want to get one free and that sounded perfect so I ordered it and added it ramen. In about an hour my food was delivered and I was ready to eat. The first one I ate tasted great, as I ate the second one and a fork full of ramen, all I tasted was seasoning full of salt. I thought I was going crazy bc I just had one shrimp and it was fine. I said ok, let me take another bite of ramen then. Welp, that did it. It was not edible at all. Ughhh, how freaking disappointing. I’ve been craving this, I finally get it and I can’t even eat it and now I have to spend more money because I’m still hungry. I will not be going back to crafty crab. Total waste of money.

This place was fantastic!! From the warm, friendly service to the fresh, great tasting food, fast service to the cleanliness and the ambiance and Ialso had a Rum Runner that was out of this world. A little strong for me but tasted great and definitely no skimping on the rum! I was worried because they are know for their boils , but I ordered some steamed oysters and fried catfish instead! I wasn’t disappointed! Some of the best oysters and fried catfish I’ve ever had! Thanks for a lovely lunch definitely stop here if you’re in St Petersburg!

My 4 year old daughter and I went in for lunch yesterday and I must say that it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food was really good. I had a frozen margarita and I really enjoyed it,I can’t wait to go back again with my husband.

Hands down the BEST seafood boil in St Pete Beach, and I’ve tried several! Their sauce is to die for, Bloody Mary was excellent as well! We literally love coming to St Pete just to eat here, always our first stop! Never crowded so no wait times and staff is always friendly! Make sure you throw an egg in your boil!

Our server was working his first day on the job. He was nervous but did a fine job – the managers (owners?) made sure to help as much as they could and check with guests. The food was VERY good. Everything was seasoned great and stayed hot throughtout the dining experience. Would definitely recommend eating here!

I was very skeptical at the beginning about this place, after reading some negative reviews. But this was absolutely incredible dining experience, we were blown away! We came for a dinner on a Wednesday evening. It was not busy at all, though it was a tiny bit busier when we left. I made a reservation, but we arrived a little earlier and were seated immediately. Jason was our server, he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We decided to try the large plate with everything on it, all the seasoning with mild spiciness. Seafood tasted fresh, good sized portion, and seasoned very well. We liked that the seasoning did not overpowered the taste of food, the crab was awesome, the shrimps were huge! Loved it! 5 stars out of 5! We highly recommend Crafty Crab. For sure will be back on our next trip.

The taste was okay, and definitely better than a few lower quality restaurants, though not nearly as good as restaurants with fresher or better meats. The service was just weird, and I think all the servers are new to serving. The prices are high, and also don’t make sense.
