First time ever eating at a Crafty Crab. The food was some of the best batter dipped seafood I’ve eaten and I’m pretty picky about my seafood especially when people are spending good money for it. I personally do NOT like hush puppies because most places over season them and don’t let the original flavor seep through. But I factually liked theirs. The Fried oysters were better quality than so many other seafood restaurants. The Calamari was great and the onion rings were on point. If you like batter dipped fried seafood well their batter doesn’t overwhelm the seafood flavors it adds to it and tones it perfectly. Very impressed and will not only be back but strongly suggest you try the food and place yourself. Another thing I liked is on the way to the bathroom they had a hand washing station which made the place extra sanitized and cleanly. If I could’ve gave 6 stars I would have.

Wow, the food was good, and the drink was delicious. I had the lobster boil. The service was good. I went there a little bit late close to closing time, and the food was still good. They also have a big TV screen to watch sports. I’ll go back.

Great customer service from Jody! She was patient about answering all our questions and she had a great, bubbly personality. Loved hearing her suggestions on what to order! Jody provided us some bibs, wet wipes, gloves and disposable gloves which was nice since I’m a messy person.

Amazing food, outstanding service and the ambiance is fantastic! My waitress was Jody and she’s a real sweetheart. Very friendly and makes sure that her customers are well taken care of. When you get to this establishment make sure Jody is your waitress. I asked her how she liked working at the Crafty Crab and she said that she loves it. She said that her coworkers were all very friendly and that their like family here. This was so refreshing to hear. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed here! I’ve been a big fan of papadeaux’s seafood but the Crafty Crab along with Jody stole my heart!

We’ve been planning a visit to this new location and today was the day! Is it as good as the Pearland one? Yes it was! Was the service as good? Yes again. Very personable people serving great food. Three of us thought alike and ordered the fried shrimp dinner with onion rings. A lot of places have an upcharge for rings, not here…..we’re already planning our next meal here. Two of us got and enjoyed the unsweet iced tea, I stuck with water. They have chicken wings and chicken tenders for those who don’t like seafood.

Horrible food, terrible service. I ordered crawfish that wasn’t fresh and tasted frozen. I tried to explain to the waiter Will and “David” the manager, that the crawfish wasn’t good. I was informed that my friend and I were the first to complain about crawfish. I asked David, the manager, to at least try to eat one. He said he doesn’t eat crawfish. David was insulting, lacked customer service skills, and stated that he owned this place and that I could leave after I closed out my ticket. Then He went on to speak loudly, but I said stop talking to me loud. I never once spoke to him loudly or aggressively. He felt they needed to speak to me aggressively because I am a minority woman. I wonder how many other minorities are criticized or mistreated at this place.
