We ordered basic catfish and shrimp, not pleased. It was a little wet and gressy for my taste. The gumbo was ok, but mostly all rice, with a spoonful of actual gumbo. I was excited to find a place that did boils. However, I think I’ll keep looking. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Prefacing this review with the fact that we support local business and love visiting new places to try, as well as the fact that I can appreciate the complete overhaul they did to the interior decor to match the restaurant’s theme. That being said, I can confidently say this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food itself was so greasy that there was little to no flavor aside from the grease and breading. The garlic bread was literally a Texas toast frozen loaf from Kroger or equivalent- the exact same thing I would purchase at the grocery store for home.

This place just gets better and better. Strong recommendation: phone ahead to make sure that Alesha is the bartender. Her drinks are major and she will definitely take good care of you. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE FOOD OR THE DRINKS!! The wonderful service is next level.
