Service was excellent, food was great. Wife got the snow crab special and loved it. I had the fried catfish and it was excellent. Our 6yo son loved the decor and had a good time spotting different sea creatures. He had fried shrimp and enjoyed it. I don’t eat much seafood, but next time I want some Crafty Crab is at the top of my list.

Located on N Dale Mabry in a shopping area. Took awhile for the server to arrive although it was not busy at that time. They have a full bar and plenty of beer options. The food is ok but kinda salty. Clean and nice inside. Parking can be challenging during the weekend. Kinda pricey but not so bad.

The entire family loves to eat at crafty crab. We normally visit the north tampa location, but there is another location in St. Pete that we have not been to yet. There is a combo meal, as you can see in the picture comes in a large bag, then the server will shake it all up and mix all the food with their delicious sauce mixture. We like to order the shrimp and crawfish combo that also comes with 3 pieces of corn, small potatoes and a bunch of sliced sausages. We normally order 2-3 bowls of rice. The meal is around $50 but has enough shrimp and crawfish to feed to wife and 2 kids, then I eat the sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob. With a side order of Calamari, we may get out the door with a bill around $80 for the 4 of us. Not bad for good seafood. It is a casual style place, but you can dress up and still fit in. Great place to eat. Highly recommend it.

Wow! First time here… GREAT atmosphere! Food was FANTASTIC! Beers on tap, attentive service & good selection of food. Would recommend to a friend/family. If your price conscience be sure to check the menu online but definitely worth it! See pics for what we ordered! Being picky would be nice if they had grilled chicken for salad or grilled tenders however understand it is a seafood place! Gloves/bib provided to stay clean while eating!

I don’t know if we just came at an off time, but the food was not good. The crab didn’t taste fresh, it had a very strong smell, and I ate one oyster, afraid of eating the rest due to the scent and texture. The restaurant is charging me for the one oyster I gagged down with my beer, almost spitting it out. Service was fast, and our waitress was pleasant. But it’s safe to say we won’t return to try again. I’ll stick to making seafood boils at home. The draft beer was great, clean tap and line, and Tasted fresh.

From my own exspirence eating at the crafty crab recently, it wasnt the best. I was served undercooked crab and some particular folds were not apetizing including the sauce which was extremely spicy. And overall the service wasnt the best to top it off. Wont be eating there again.

Atmosphere is so weird… this place doesn’t know whether or not to be a club or a restaurant. The music selection was interesting, the place was nearly empty at 5pm on a Saturday night, and the service was extremely slow. I have to give them credit, because the boiled seafood I got was delicious, but that’s about it.
