Update to my last review. It’s been almost 7 years since I was last here. How time flies.

We found this cute orchard, and restaurant from some nice folks at CampIt (down the road). They raved about the pie so of course we got the Pie Flight .. with the ice cream! Don’t forget that. The food was a good traditional lunch, nothing over the top.

This a very eclectic atmosphere, come for the wine and ciders and stay for the food!

Accidentally stumbled upon this place for a late lunch. Clearly everything is homemade. Potato soup among the best I’ve ever had. Get a pie flight for sure.

Fine establishment, with fresh food and a great selection of wines, ciders, and pies. Pies in my opinion are the real winner here – super great. The food is good, albeit a little overpriced. Cider is good, but not outstanding in my opinion.

A quick visit while out exploring- snagged us a tasty bottle of wine, some honey, and a frozen chicken potpie for later. We did not get to hang out long, but looks like a fun place and atmosphere!

I’m so glad that we stopped for lunch. Warm, friendly people and delicious food. We had the bread with apple butter, Gruyère, and honey drizzle to start. It was incredibly good! My family had a mix of sandwiches and salad. Everything seemed to be homemade with fresh ingredients. It was all very good. We bought a cherry crisp pie to bring home and it is one of the best pies I’ve had. I hope to visit again when I’m back in Michigan.

I love this place! Food is awesome, staff are helpful and friendly and atmosphere makes me feel like I’m visiting my grandmas farm. The apple cider is unmatched and I’ve never had better. It’s worth going there just for the cider! Another favorite of mine is the blueberry pie; just so delicious! All the pies are wonderful but the blueberry is my absolute favorite. My only complaint about Cranes is that they close at 6pm. I would love it and go there more often for dinner if they stayed open til at least 8pm!

Cranes pies a consistent perfect 10. Sloppy joes very tasty and would definitely return to eat them. One issue I had was the drinking water at the table was horrible. Make sure you bring in a bottle of water from the car. Love their food just bad experience with the water.

Crane’s has the best tuna melt sandwich in Michigan (with the possible exception of Zingerman’s) and THE best blueberry and apple pies anywhere (no exceptions).
