The brisket that wasn’t fat was great! Unfortunately, it was mostly fat…as you can see. The chicken was also quite disgusting with fat and who knows what that nasty, slimy stuff was that it was attached to. The sides with the medium family meal were way too small and not enough to feed 4 adults. One person from our group ended up making a pb&j and ate that instead of the meal. The mac and cheese was phenomenal and the only dish I would consider ordering again. Our meal came with banana pudding but it was practically inedible with the sugar overload. The inside is far too small to accommodate multiple groups, and it’s horribly HOT inside! Skip this place.

Friendly little spot with very good smoked meats and amazing side dishes. We had the Cuban and Blue Smokey sandwiches with collards, corn pudding, and killer Mac & cheese. I wish we had room for their fresh make desserts.

Lighthead Warning Equipment
The smoked pork is fantastic. It had plenty of smoke and lots of good salty bark. The tomato pie wasn’t as good as mine but ranked right up there. The bleu cheese slaw with bacon was very tasty as well.

Absolutely amazing. Best BBQ I’ve had in a good while. BBQ didn’t even need sauce. And the side dishes were spectacular as well. Highly recommend the Mac n cheese and twice baked potato salad.

Really good BBQ. Had the pulled pork. Smokehouse smell gets you ready to eat! Try the Alabama white sauce, it’s different but very good. Mac N cheese and blue cheese bacon slaw were great!

A smoke pit barbecue place. Feels just like it sounds. The service was great and they actually gave us extra food and treated us very well! I couldn’t even finish it all and we ended up bringing a good bit home.

The food was great. The staff was very nice and generous. If you come later in the day, get a couple choices ready, as they might not have what you want.
