I recently visited the new location of Crawfish Cafe in San Antonio and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The shrimp and catfish were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were absolutely incredible. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who were more than happy to assist me with my order.

Service sucked. We asked for gloves and bibs and the waiter ignored us. Food was ok. We had to ask the waiter if we could have refills and she continued to ignore us so we needed up having to ask a different waiter and he helped us. Not too pricey. Won’t be returning though.

Great food and atmosphere with great prices. We had the Thursday Shrimpfest special. We had the blackened and fried shrimp. My side was the garlic fried rice, and it was tasty . 2nd time here, and I will definitely come back.

This place is a hidden gem! Came in for Mother’s Day lunch today with the family and enjoyed Oyster Nachos, King Crab legs with salted egg breading, Garlic Noodles with Shrimp, Cajun Fried Rice, and a bunch of other goodies. Literally everything was fresh and well executed by the chef. The asian flavors intertwined with fresh quality seafood makes this spot different from the many seafood boil places that have popped up in SA over the last few years. The prices aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for (fresh, clean, deveined seafood) plus there is a wide range of options to satisfy a broad range of tastes and price points. Service was also excellent and on point! We are new regulars.

Loved every bite! Fresh, hot, and quickly made it to our table! Great prices for a good portion; we had left overs to take home. I hope that they keep it up with customer service, taste, and a clean atmosphere. Recommend!

To sum it up, it was our first time here we all love seafood. The 6 of us all ordered different items, but none of it was to any of our liking. They used way too much garlic, and the fish tasted like old stale fishy fish could not be eaten. we spent good money and were not able to enjoy our meal we still left the waitress a good tip because it was not the waitress fault that our meal was terrible.

I feel cheated that I never knew this place existed! My husband and I came and was blown away by the pricing of the seafood and how delicious it was. Very affordable. He ordered crawfish and I ordered the blue crab, headless shrimp and black mussels. It was cooked to perfection and the sizes were actually pretty decent! Even leftover the next day, it was still really good. We also ordered raw oysters and crawfish egg rolls. I personally didn’t care for the egg rolls, but that’s just me. Food came out quick which was surprising, and service was average. Will be our go to spot now for boils. Only comment I have is how I wish you could order by the half pound on some of the items.

From walking in and leaving the establishment the aura was very welcoming, clean, and overall a great experience. I was greeted with a smile and wished a great day when leaving. My son and I have never been there and for being first timers I’ll come back for more! Our waitress Alexis was very informative. She was kind and had a beautiful smile that serviced us with eagerness. She gave great recommendations! The manager took the time to come and thank us for trying them out. In conversation, I shared I drive to Houston for Cajun Seafood because SA is not the place to have seafood. The food had the flavor I once remembered and who would have known that this restaurant originated in Houston! I’ll never drive over there again for Seafood! This place tops Smashing Crabs, Red Hook, and any other lack of Cajun kick you can find! They have chicken wings and Turkey necks! It’s BYOB too! You won’t be disappointed! Test your tingle at Crawfish Café!

First official day open. Went for lunch and totally blown away by the quality of the service and food. We had the shrimp boil, crawfish fried rice and crawfish egg rolls. We were only two eating and had more than enough food for 4 people. We wanted to keep eating, but, stopped half way through as we would be to full. Again food unbelievable and service as well. Well worth the drive from Boerne or Kerrville. P.S. this place will get very busy. May want to consider ordering to go in the future.
