Went to Jimbo’s for lunch today. They were serving a lunch buffet with fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and several sides. Great array of food. It was delicious. We will definitely be back.

My review is actually a 4.5, but I rounded up because they were better than a 4! The food, atmosphere, staff, location and overall was great! We had fried shrimp and fried catfish platters and will definitely recommend! Seasoned perfectly and portion size was plenty! Prices are very reasonable. They are newly opened, so the menu is pretty weak. I do believe they are working on adding items. The wait between drink order, food delivery and check was long, but we weren’t in a hurry so no big deal for us. If you are in a hurry, you may want to let your server know as we’ve been told by others that the restaurant is very good except for the wait. We were there 1 hour and 35 minutes.

We were on our way back to N.O. after visiting family in Alexandria and decided to stop in for lunch. The restaurant was clean, the background music was great, the waitstaff was super friendly and personable, and the food was DELICIOUS! Everything was seasoned perfectly and the cobbler that our waitress brought us as a little treat was just perfect. We’ll definitely be back when we’re out this way. Totally recommend!

This little restaurant was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and we ate the Mac and cheese waffle bacon burger which was a welcome change of pace from a typical burger! Also the crawfish at this place is the best I’ve had! They weren’t over-seasoned like most restaurants do it. I highly recommend this place to anyone! It’s a great place to stop for on motorcycle ride!
