I have eaten here in many occasions and each and every time the food was delicious. I got what they called the Crazy Cajun Poboy that was their version of the roast beef Poboy they made with pork roast. I found the chunks of meat to be a little large but manageable. The flavor was very good. I have in the past gotten the crawfish Poboy and enjoyed it greatly. Others in my party got other dishes they also enjoyed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal.

First, the staff was amazing. Second, the owner working the tables gave my table mates credit card to another table and vice versa. She had no concern. Literally, no concern that she had swapped 2 credit cards. It was up to my friend to contact his credit card company as well as try to contact the other patron as to what had happened, but she had absolutely no concern. Our waitress did all she could do to help.

This place is awesome! It’s always a go to for me any time I’m visiting Birmingham. The food is amazing (the shrimp and grits are a must) and the staff and owners always make sure you are taken care of and feel right at home. Go visit! You won’t be disappointed!

The shrimp was blackened, the jambalaya was spicy, and the music was just right. We really enjoyed sitting outside eating delicious cajun food while listening to the smooth sounds of one Jerry Robbins. We came just to hear him and discovered a great restaurant. We’ll be back for sure. You’re welcome to join us… just leave the table next to Jerry open for my family. I stop here every now and then for lunch since I work across the street and I have not had a bad experience yet. I’m a little disappointed I never come on days they have crawfish etouffee so it’s always shrimp. The shrimp etouffee is delicious though so I’m always happy with it. My service today was great she was very attentive always right there when I needed anything and got me in and out within 20 mins I was very happy and impressed…

It’s really unfortunate. The crawfish is good. Two employees are great. I’m just tired of the owner. My husband and I just avoid it when she’s there. Lulu is her name. She’s worked drunk, I’ve watched her snap at her employees when they didn’t deserve it. Pick-up crawfish comes in the thin metal trays when she’s not there which is great! Sometimes it’s in plastic shopping bags then in a tray which is still fine. When she is there it’s chaos. We just spent 87$ in crawfish no big deal we know what it costs but my husband asked for a metal tin – got sighed at – and was told it would be 6$. The food is good the servers are solid this woman makes it a mess to deal with. So go, but be aware of what you’re going into.
