The shrimps are absolutely divine here and the lemonade is god status. Don’t sleep in the hush puppies either. I ate one and saw the pearly gates as god kissed my cheek and the hush puppies itself before sending me back down.

Crazy Catfish doesnt look like much, but if ya love a plate of catfish and shrimp with hushpuppies, fries, and a side of slaw… then you should pop in and give it a go. The folks working are friendly and feed ya well.

Smells swampy in the establishment, the cashier was bit rude, I asked when I called my order in if there was an option for mayo he said yes, then when I arrive and check my bag and ask for mayo he says take the tater I told him that I don’t like tater do you have mayo he replies the tarter is mayo based. I don’t like tarter I like what I asked for that was very passive aggressive and I don’t like that. How are you selling po’boys but don’t have mayo? Makes no sense to me. Either way the food was flavorless, cornmeal was thick and not cooked thoroughly and my fries were brown and soggy. Overall the quality of the food was bad, the service was bad and the establishment needs some work. I can’t see how this place has 4.2 stars I was expecting good food it is quite the opposite. I won’t be coming back and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. This place needs some major improvement.

I really wanted some Cajun food. Some good ol catfish and fried oysters maybe a side of red beans and rice. I settled for this place because it was affordable and close! Plus they had oysters which I love!!! Ummm not sure what all the hype is about but online pricing was different than when I got there and had already called in my order. I went during lunch and I counted off two people sitting and eating very quiet and couldn’t even smell fish. Fish looks ok from reviews so I tried it still. Let me just say everything must be fried together. Tastes like salt and pepper. Too much breading on oysters and you couldn’t chew them down enough to swallow period. Oysters aren’t meant to be chewed down but I know the flavor and texture I’ve gotten in the past and they were just horrible. Found bones in my fillet and they pile a bunch of salt less steak Fries. If it wasn’t for hot sauce and ketchup !!! I want to thank the owner and staff because they were very friendly but I’m tired of these places just opening up restaurants because they think all you have to do is deep fry. Be good and passionate about what your doing and do it well. Don’t think I’m interested in recommending or going back. I could cook fish at home and be just fine.

The lady at the register just could not get our order right! We ordered a whole catfish with okra instead of fries. I come in and she hands me catfish fillet with fries , and then charges me for okra in full like I ordered an extra side , when she already told me it would be and extra dollar to swap fries for okra. I then go back to tell her not my order , and she just STARES at me for a minute, so I stared back in silence. She then hands me my correct order with the okra in the box and tries to charge me again. Never coming here again bc the lady cannot count money , get orders correct , and barely speaks English , or she was acting . She ripped me off and the fish was not that good anyway. Nasty food and horrible customer service! Crazy catfish on Buckingham rd in Garland is the BEST!! They can communicate, and count money , and the food was AMAZING! Only went to the crazy catfish on centerville bc I was on that side !!

Got the catfish and shrimp combo, shrimp was juicy, nice crispy coating but not too thick. Both Fish and shrimp could use a little more seasoning but overall was really good. Hush puppies and fries were good. I ate 7 hush puppies lol Very friendly service. Enjoyed this place. Will more than likely be back.

The catfish nuggets were raw. It wasn’t cooked all the way, and I hope I don’t get sick. When I reported it to the cashier, his response was he was “sorry”. He didn’t offer to replace it.
