Came here for lunch with my kids and order udon noodle and fried rice and Orange chicken. First, the udon broth is very oily and loaded w onion, carrots and pale looking chicken pieces. It doesn’t look authentic at all, very different from udon from other Japanese places. The fried rice has too much black pepper and my 6 year old refuse it eat if after 2 bites. The orange chicken is full of pieces of dark meat and a bit chewy for 6 year old kid. Overall, little disappointed with the food.

We put our name on the wait list, the place was busy but not full. We were the only ones on the waitlist. I watched as 11 different people finished and walked out and they still didn’t call my name. Kept waiting and when I was about to leave I poked my head in and they sat us lol.

They recently increased their prices and the sushi is decent. We ordered the red dragon roll, spicy caterpillar and the chicken katsu curry. Worth a try.

We are fans of sushi, but this is our first disappointment. We come to this place because really closed to our house. This is our first time to try to this place. We order combo ribs + tempura. It comes with rice, salad and miso soup. We also order sashimi and broiled mussels. The raw octopus that we got just really hard to eat and also the ribs too. . But I like the tempura, they use a good oil, because I can’t taste the old oil. The other hand, when we see the broilled mussels, it’s just under our expectations. Some of them not cooked and smell, they just put the cheese on the top. Not as we like with the other place. . . And sashimi order, they just served you only with sashimi with pricy one. . Usually we got rice and miso soup also.

The worst sushi place I’ve ever been. Very high prices. Tuna hand roll had cubed tuna pieces and no vegetables like carrots in it. They barely have any fish in the tuna tacos. It was all tomatoes. Save yourself a bad lunch and stay away. Not to mention the awful service. Ed ames had no salt on them. Not cooked enough. I could complain about everything here. I feel ripped off.

The sushi and the rolls were outstanding. So big you can hardly fit them in your mouth. I would highly recommend it to anyone who asks where there is a good sushi restaurant in the Irvine area. Great selection of Beers Wines and Sake’. Prices are also very reasonable for this excellent quality food.
