The staff are very friendly. The food was pretty good, I got a cheese burger and fries and a strawberry malt. The strawberry malt was very heavy but super creamy. You definitely can’t finish it by yourself. It’s basically like ice cream.

Overall good experience. I had just come off the trails when I ate here, so maybe my hunger made the food taste better than it was. Under normal circumstances it’s probably pretty average. Disclaimer: The “Chili Burger” has chili peppers on it not chili. I saw many people have that misunderstanding. Cool atmosphere – it’s stuck in the 50’s. Good service even when the place is packed from the nearby Boy Scout camp. (this happens often)

When it’s the only place in town open it seems on a Wednesday evening for dinner it’ll have to do. It was busy when we were there a little after 6pm. We ordered the pizza and it’s a frozen one sort of like a Tombstone. It worked for us seeing there weren’t any or many options for food.

Cool little cafe/diner, we stop here every time we come through Cimmaron. Burgers are good, malts are good, service has always been good for us too. Definitely grandson approved.

After a long wait, we received cold fries, cold onion rings, and cheeseburgers on cold buns. The hottest part was the dining room. Burger tasted ok but we regretted not going with our original plan to make sandwiches in the car and keep driving.

Horrible place. Ordered a bowl of beans/red chili. Got down the road and not a single bean in my order. And the red chili??? I have no idea what they served me. Complete junk. My wife ordered the grilled ham and cheese??? Should be called the Greased ham and cheese. Tossed it out it was soooo bad. Waaaay over priced as well. I just wish I could share a ZERO with you all on this place.

My friends, who are Asian, were treated badly and waited for an hour to get their food. 20-30 people who ordered after them got their food first, and many had exactly the same food they ordered. No explanations or apologies. Very bad experience for a Boy Scout team going on a Philmont trip. Our Troop decided never to go back there again! Negative stars if I can.
