The salmon was our favorite dish, Mac and cheese was creamy and home made. Chicken wings were great. Unique meatloaf was tasty. Side salads were quality and nice portions. Kids menu prices were great. I was brave and tried the mushroom strudel which indeed had a strong mushroom flavor but I’ll never order that again. We wouldn’t particularly recommend the country fried chicken either. Lots of outdoor dining when the weather permits, the indoor dining room is a little tight and the atmosphere is just OK. Our server Alicia was friendly. The adult meal prices were a little high, but I’d probably go back for the ambiance of the OUTDOOR dining and a fancier date with my wife when the weather is pleasant. They have a separate indoor dining area for catering large groups with a limited menu.

Do not eat here. The food looks and tastes like it was bought from Walmart and thrown in a microwave. The prices are way to high for some food that wouldn’t even compare to food from a cheap concession stand you would find at a kids ball game. You are better off bringing your own food if you are coming to Echo Bluff

Lovely view of Echo Bluff from the dining room. Service was friendly and timely. Food was exceptional for the area. We enjoyed our stay at Timbuktu Campground and the restaurant.

We didn’t actually stay at the lodge, but we walked through a bit, and visited the camp store. The poor ladies at the store were super nice, but the registers kept messing up.

Food was not as good as usual. Several bad pieces of lettuce in my salad and not much flavor in grilled chicken.

We’ve been here several times, each time the food gets worse. Party of 11 this time, food was served 2 plates at a time10 minutes apart. Tough frozen burger patties served Hal raw. The rest of our party all was disappointed with their meals. Do better!

I’ve eaten there a few times before and was always good, today was only mediocre, fries weren’t crispy, drink was flat.

It is really too bad there are only 5 stars. I would say the whole experience was a solid 10/10. The host was friendly without interrupting our romantic anniversary dinner. The food was out-of-this-world tasty and fresh. This was the first time we have been, but we will be going back soon.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to our campground & ended up staying for a couple of hours. Enjoyed the beach area- took a swim. The kids loved it.

My husband and I spent a weekend away at Echo Bluff Park and had the majority of our meals here. Some of that was because we tended to sleep in late but also because there really wasn’t much else area. Luck for us the food was always delicious and the staff was great. My husband has dietary restrictions and I’m just plain picky. The staff found ways to accommodate us both by editing and adding things to the menu. Don’t want meat on your breakfast burrito? They just got some fresh mushrooms in they’ll substitute for those. Not a fan of lettuce? Can make anything into a spinach salad instead. All around a great experience.
