Its hard to find decent food in remote areas. This restaurant definitely makes a good effort to provide a nice dining experience to people. Everything we ordered came in decent time and tasted good.

I wish I lived close enough to visit more often. This place has phenomenal food. I had the elk burger with a delicious side salad the first night. I had their salad with shrimp the following night. The dressing on the salad was delicious. The elk burger and bacon jam was amazing. My daughter had the crab Mac and cheese both nights. She said it was the best she’s ever had. She actually begged to go back the next night to have it again.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights. Breakfast staff was very good, breakfast food very good also. Dinner staff made us feel unnoticed and ignored for at least 10-15 minutes to even greet us, just walked by as we waited to be seated. We ended up ordering to go and ate in our room. More then likely understaffed like most places. The food was very good

We went as a large group and they served us well. The chowder is THE BEST I have ever had! I took an extra to go bowl home, even! Whoever is making that chowder, they deserve a raise!

What better dining atmosphere can you have when there’s a gorgeous view of the ocean? Dining in or on the deck, the expansive windows give everyone a great view. Unfortunately since covid, the menu is limited. The burgers and fries are top notch, however, especially when washed down with Snoqualmie Root Beer. I especially miss the Spicy Shrimp Pasta that was one of my all time favorite dishes from any restaurant.

$70 plus $10 tip for us to get a Pub burger with avocado and an elk burger and a drink. The add ons are $2 a piece but they won’t tell you that in my experience. The Elk burger had mushrooms, bacon and clam chowder which made it $30. The drink was $12. The pub burger was $22 because I added avocado. The drink was okay but personally I’d never order one for myself.

Gorgeous location on the bluff above the beach at Kalaloch Lodge, and a beautiful room that takes advantage of the view. I ate here twice in early August 2023. The food and drink were always good, but menu is limited and does not appear to change between lunch and dinner. Service is leisurely. Or, as some would say, slow. So if you’re in a hurry, take this as an opportunity to relax and enjoy the location, or eat somewhere else. You can buy food from the Mercantile, and there’s Dino’s in Amanda Park to the south.

Food was good but very pricey. We were sat quickly and then quickly received drinks and ordered. Then the wait began. We ordered an appetizer that never came until our lunch was served after a lengthy wait of approximately 45 min. Drinks long ran dry. Then two in our party never received their meals because of a mix up in the kitchen and we waited another 30-40 minutes for those two lunches to come out. The restaurant was not full. Our server apologized and removed the meals from our bill. Never expected a 3 hr lunch.. yikes..

Food was excellent – elk burger was really good, and the clam chowder was good too (not too heavy and the sourdough bread was great). The waitress was lovely and attentive. And the view of the ocean/beach as you eat is the icing on the cake, especially if you can catch the sunset!

We had a great dinner at this restaurant 4 years ago and we came through again on vacation hoping to have a similar experience. There were only about 5-6 entree choices on the dinner menu when we came through. Our server realized that we hadn’t been served the cheese plate that we had ordered to share until the main course arrived. The crab macaroni and cheese was so bland (2 people in our party ordered this dish and we both felt the same). My husband’s salmon dish was under cooked. The waitress was very busy and we couldn’t get our water or other drinks refilled and my husband had to go find the water pitcher and refill our drinks. None of the wait staff seemed to notice and they didn’t seem to be working as a team to help one another. Considering the cost of the food at this venue, the entire experience was unacceptable. I can’t say that I would recommend this restaurant unless they improve their menu selection and service. You’ll probably be happier if you pack a cooler and take a grill and prepare your own meal when visiting this area of the peninsula.
