Walked around Mallard Lake then had lunch. They’re having struggles with staffing and supplies. Outside temperature was 43 degrees so the inside patio wasn’t open. I wanted the French Dip but they didn’t have the meat. Casey, our server, recommended the Mallard Club Sandwich so that’s what I ordered and it came with kettle chips. The sandwich was good and all the ingredients were fresh. They didn’t have Pepperjack cheese and they substituted wheat bread for sourdough. The big pluses for this place was our server and the view. When the weather gets nicer, I want to enjoy their indoor and outdoor patios. If you enjoy nature and the outdoors, you’ll enjoy this place on Creve Coeur Mill Road. Ample parking, we parked at the restaurant and walked the trail before having lunch. The trail passes right by the restaurant.

Love walking around the park for exercise here. The bar is on the path. They used to have some live performances every once and a while but I’m not sure if they still do or not. When it’s warm out, this is the perfect place to eat outside. You see walkers, skaters and bikers enjoying the path and you get a glimpse of the lake. The menu is just okay but they make a bomb @&s Bloody Mary. Oh! They have $5 Long Island pitchers, dart boards and tvs outside on the patio too.

The Lakehouse is a great place to recoup some of the calories you just burned running, riding or paddling around CC Lake. Solid bar food menu. Decent selection of drinks including a good set of beers on tap. Dog friendly and a large outdoor seating area with a view of the south end of the lake.

Who is writing these reviews? I’ve been there 3 times and never even got food. Either because I stood there for 15 minutes waiting for the servers to get off there phones or the last time (my favorite) was told that there was no food available because the cooks were on lunch. When I ask when they’d be back I was told 4 o’clock and it was 1:45. Then the waitress sat down at the bar with her food from the kitchen and sat there and ate it in front of me. This place is an absolute joke.

Be careful of the OPEN sign. After going out of our way near the end of long bike ride to this establishment, which according to the website was open for business. There were people on the patio, as well as inside, eating. We were greeted with a sign inside the doorway that said “not seating at this time” and then by an employee who said they were not seating for a couple of hours. Then asked an employee in the parking lot if they were really closed, even though every indication was that it was open..He said…let me check. We left. Please adjust your hours or something….that was extremely disappointing!!!!!! Especially after going out of our way to patronize.

Service has gone downhill the last year. The view and atmosphere is amazing but food took forever and so did getting anyone’s attention for drinks. I’ll still go back but definitely not a place to go if you’re in a hurry

I hosted a baby shower for 25 persons and I am so pleased with everything. Chanel, the event coordinator, was fabulous to work with. I requested some special items for the shower , and she took care of it all. Every person who waited or served our group was attentive, smiling and did a great job. Everyone in attendance was so impressed, and will probably come back on their own. Thanks so much for a wonderful event

Nice chill atmosphere and drinks were good..but that’s about it. Food was horrible, the nachos $15 basically had Shredded cheese on top that was melted in the microwave and was hard by the time it came to the table something a child could make. The battered fish look like something you’ll buy at Walmart thats comes already cooked just warm it up…also they were so full of grease it was dripping did not touch it so I just ate salad you can’t mess that up or microwave it so that was good. If you want some microwavable food that’s over priced this is the place for you.. I will not be coming back.

Really want to love this place, but I’m not sure we’d even try to go back. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one server who was also the bartender. There was no other staff from what I could see. No manager or hostess. Waited for 30 minutes to get served since she had a party of 15 and a full bar of maybe 6-8 people, plus three more tables. The patio was disgusting. We left before even getting drinks just because the atmosphere was so sad.

Was in town for soccer tournaments and this was conveniently located. Food was mediocre at best. The mallard club was supposed to be on sour dough bread with pepper jack cheese. Came on regular toast with American cheese. The coleslaw was awful. Food was sitting waiting to be delivered so I went and got it myself. Men’s bathroom was worse than a Porta potty with toilet full of human waste and just overall filthy. Waitress was pleasant enough. Wouldn’t go back.
